Oregon to be knocked out of playoff contention this week?

They'll most likely get Utah a second time in the PAC12 Championship, correct? I suppose Arizona State is the other option. So 2 chances to lose.

Yeah, that would be so **** AWFUL. A HC that recruits, prepares, and executes his team into serious CFP conversation and high ranking but then loses to an roughly equal team that outplays them in the conference championship. Can't have that here, we need Knute Rockne on steroids.

Tough place to win this time of year, plus the altitude difference between SLC and Eugene could be a factor.

“We can’t hire a coach who wins too much because he won’t leave” vs “if he loses at all he’s a terrible coach and not worthy of coming to the powerhouse that is Miami” oh what a time to be alive on CIS.

Why would Oregon being a playoff team keep Cristobal in Oregon? I haven't understood that line of thinking and it gets repeated here nonstop. Almost all coaches who make moves to other places do so AFTER they've achieved success.

Utah is good, and Rising > Brown. They'll at least split with Oregon between this game and potential Pac-12 Championship meeting, hence Oregon isn't making the playoffs. But, if Mario goes into Salt Lake City and comes out with a win, that's **** impressive.

agreed.

Utah at home is equal to Oregon. there's a reason they are favored.

coaches aren't bad coaches because they don't beat teams that are better than they are.

they are bad coaches when they lose to teams that are worse.
