Only 5 scholarship receivers in the spring

To put a positive spin on it those 5 will get all the reps they need

Boom to this. And cats like Cager and Berrios need as many reps as possible because they will be heavily depended on. So this isnt necessarily a bad thing.

I think the bigger problem is that of those five, only Coley has made much of an impact on the field. It's one thing to be short on depth but have experienced talent and another to have no depth or experience. It makes Njoku and Walton all that more important. The incoming freshmen and JUCO transfer will shore up the depth issue. Then we'll see which five or six guys get in the rotation and which guys will just be providing backup options.

While not ideal, I don't see this as a huge concern. We've got guys with experience and young guys with talent, we'll be fine.

This forces a balanced offense... Rb catching passes like Mel Bratton, and the TE will be used a lot...

Will be fun to watch.... The question is, how many of the 5 are a DEEP BALL threat? That is where they will be needed...

Do we know for sure if Mullins is going to qualify? @DMoney?

I've learned not to speculate on grades.

As for the lack of depth, it's not idealI'm not overly concerned. Kaaya makes receivers better and he has two of the most gifted pass-catchers in the ACC with Coley and Njoku. Richards and Bruce should be immediate contributors and Harris was a good depth pickup. They can restock this position with one recruiting class.

Cager is going to be the guy to watch. He showed a lot of talent in camp but needs to stop dropping the easy passes.

Most terrible roster management in the history of football. Remember when all we had was Jacory and Whipple with Snickers redshirting. Or when we had 3 scholarship corners going into the spring a few years back

Not sure why the f**k it matters how many WR's we have for spring ball.

All that matters is if we have 1-2 who can turn into front line relaible game breakers.

The Golden era is over.

We will have well conditioned tough front line starts that don't need to come out of the game after the first series.

Loser Golden loved to empty the bench in the 1st Q. Why the f**k was Damauri Jones ever on the field with the type of talent we had in front of him?

We need 1 go to guy and a few role players.

I mean it's just my opinion so don't come at me all crazy. Barring injury I think it's a 0% chance that Bruce redshirts. I'm talking about -50%. Of he doesn't challenge for reps I'm the slot he will be a return guy from day 1 of fall camp.

If Folden was still around if asked he would respond "Well we lost 9 scholarships! Figured Brad is good enough so he can throw it to anybody and they can make a play!"
