What part of he needs to get a waiver that has been inconsistently given do you not understand - it might not be in Miami’s control

Maybe our staff and our fans aren't exactly on the same page with the value of some of these players... Anyone who doesn't see some MASSIVE flaws in his game might not really understand what they're looking at.

If you had made this statement if we missed the playoffs it would be somewhat valid..dude was a stud on the biggest stages to a natty his stock is as high as he could hope for.. I heard Cassius Howell was going to Terrorize us and saw Bell str8 bully dude
 
Seaton at LT would be an obvious upgrade imo.

Cantwell is going to obviously have his growing pains. Oh well, we'll have to deal with it. He's going to be our starting OT. TBD if that is LT or RT (likely RT).

If we get Seaton he's obviously LT and Samson+McCoy are starting OGs, and imo we prob lose Kinsler then.

If we don't get Seaton, I think it's an open Competition between McCoy, Samson, Kinsler for starting OT job. Losers are at OG (and I think Buchanan will be in this competition too). Center is between Rodrigues and SJ. I'd bet in this case it'd be McCoy at LT, and Samson may get moved to RG, so that Cantwell can have experience next to him....

Please don't put words in my mouth. There's a big difference between sucks, competent, good and great. If you want my words I'll tell you. In pass protection he's good but more than likely will never be great. He has very slow footwork, very lil ability to get low and he gets beat by speed rushers semi consistently who are able to show those traits. Now when you speak on run blocking he is competent most of the time. Average is a good word for his run blocking most days. But not much more against people with a pulse. He's not a weakness at all. But he's not someone you cry over either just like McCoy. Would we have this conversation if it was over McCoy? I'm not trippin talking bout throw even a similar bag to bell that we would give to seaton. That kid is a BEAST. Bell is just holding up a spot. I'm more curious about what's going to happen with Samson than I am with Bell. But that's just me.

Not sure if you saw but Kinsler hit the portal this afternoon.

Samson will likely start next year somewhere on the line. He played a lot this year taking some reps from mccoy

Yes I saw. Hitting portal isn't gone yet though.

I was saying if we didn't make any portal additions or retain bell to start, well Kinsler would firmly be in a starting Competition I think.

I mean maybe Staff just feel Buchanan already beat him out in the pecking oder, and he'd still be 6th guy up even if we didn't bring anyone in and lost bell... Entirely possible

If it’s not round one
Can’t Miami make it worth his while to stay develop and become potential first rounder???

I think people are overrating Seaton. He's poor run blocker and struggles playing with power. He's a strong pass blocker with athleticism and good hand placement.

People on the boards make him sound like a 1st round lock but he isn't.
 
Expecting some real head scratchers to enter thr portal seeking more money. Problem with this calendar is now everyone who missed on portal guys they wanted can really only tamper and mess with our roster now because of our extended entries. Everyone on Indiana is graduating pretty much so I'm assuming there will be a **** ton of agents pushing players to push for more money or enter the portal.
