I'd like to see some plays run that are designed to get our OL to the second level for some free hits on the OSU linebackers. I don't care how tough Reese and Styles are- a dozen plays of Mauigoa and Cooper ruthlessly hitting them could soften up their second level come the fourth quarter.

The more he blocks well in the running game the more it will set up the play action where he disengages and gets wide open.
I hope to see a lot of that in the Cotton Bowl.

Horrible screen game. One of my biggest issues with Dawson. He needs to go watch Andy Reid early mid 2000’s in Philly and take notes . I didn’t know it was possible to have so many variations of screens off different actions.

Didn’t test A&M vertically enough. It was quite frustrating watching Dawson’s gameplan.

We def need a screen to the middle of the field to TE or RB. Our only screen is the tunnel to WR.

We did run a te screen against uf to lofton. Was set up to be a big gain, but think 1 guy made the play. Agree we should have this in the play book. Same with a go out of the wr screen game. Defenses are attacking those to fast to not have a counter

It’s just such a simple play to at least put hesitation in the defense mind and theoretically with our athletic line could pop for an explosive. Our only screen is a terribly blocked one to a wide out. Doesn’t make much sense.
