One thing I’m hearing about Carson Beck from the Hecht…

OR we are thinking at this realistically with the massive talent/experience drop off from the skill positions that the offense will probably take a step back from being the best in the country last year to being top 20-30, which is still good.
What im saying is there is no way at all to know that till the games are played respectfully! Lyle might be wayyy better than Martinez, Fletch a year older a full off season, 3rd stringer just won the Jerry Rice award, Pringle looked pretty good to me, CWH might have takin a step. At WR Daniels could have a Rambo type year. Jojo might be the WR weve had since AR, Carr might show why he was a top 75 recruit in his second year. Toney could be a more athletic XR, i really really like Marions game i think he steps up and takes advantage of opportunities, Ray Ray i dont even count lol not expecting nothing there. The other 2 Freshman one being a 6'4 monster, Cincy dude is slot insurance. TE Lofton might be Becks Bowman the dude from Tulane will be a good blocker and pass cathcher. I really **** the 2 Freshman Gilbert and Schott!! Our Oline is pretty much the same except a year older Coopers not on a bum ankle. Our skill guys from last year werent all that really Arroyo was drafted highest other than Cam of course. I think Lofton can easily replace that production. Martinez was what a 7th rounder maybe 6th i dont remember. XR, George, Sam Brown all undrafted. **** we might be *** i highly doubt that but point is WE WILL NEVER KNOW TILL THE GAMES ARE PLAYED! No point in discounting Beck cause what Cam did last year. Who knows Lyle and Fletch (god forbid) could go down and we could go full-on Air Raid and Beck put up 5k. We dont know. Unless the 10 plus people down talkin on this thread can read the future. My guess is there the most likely the same ones that get on here to argue just to argue and run off posters but hey ima let it go is what it is! Not worth arguing over something that hasnt happened yet thats Brazy!

Tommy John Surgery in Football (especially quarterbacks):

85% to 90% of quarterbacks return to play at or near their previous level.

Revision Surgery (Second Surgery) Rate:
  • Much lower than in baseball — estimates are around 5% to 10%.
He’s as healthy as he will ever be.
While that is reassuring, the history of medical malpractice of the UM Athletic Department still has me concerned.

Until I see this guy throwing like an SEC starting QB at greentree, idc. He's hurt.

And that makes Emory the starting QB. (Bc we know god**** well that Mario won't play Nickel, even if he's better.) Which is a 4-5 season.

This entire program is resting on Beck being properly recovered from his procedures, AND having enough time to fit into the offense.

One iota of a setback has Emory starting against Notre Dame.

This should be more alarming to people.

you in a few.

I think Beck will be fine and he will have a solid OL protecting him. But have we done enough to surround him with weapons ? Doesn't seem so. More questions than answers on that front. We need so many young guys to take major leaps forward. Maybe 1 or 2 accomplish that, but highly unlikely most or all of them do so simultaneously.

No he didn't he was their offensive line coach before he left for Arkansas not his oc. (Sam Pittman)...Monken is the only one that wasn't fired or pushed out
Believe Jim Chaney was OC who left Georgia for Tennessee and a big contract.

Been saying this. Our offense will be on point this year with Beck i love Cam but Beck isnt a downgrade may be a upgrade! Bobo and the receivers had alot to do with how he looked last year! Remember Monken was his OC in 23. Think he lights it up this year. 24 and 3 in the sec is no joke. Hes played in big games. I personally think he lights it up #1 pick next year!

What makes you think Miami had anything to do with his surgery?

Not to single you out, but I keep seeing similar posts. What do you expect to hear? That he can throw 25 yards downfield whereas last week he was at 15? That velocity is at 60% as compared to 50% the prior week? Kid is young. He’ll be fine. We’re not his PTs. We don’t need to track his weekly improvement.

You're right, it's an irrelevant question. Let's refocus: Is he bagging any THICC latinas with that busted wing or not?

So basically what everyone is saying is Beck should be fine, if he could throw, but don’t even think about asking about his throwing…

Got it

I’m confused. Who said don’t ask about his throwing? I don’t believe I saw that anywhere, but I could be wrong, show me.
