This was his first time as a head coach. Please let this fact process inside your head and really appreciate that.

Chip Kelly's first shot, ever, as a head coach in division one football came at Oregon and he went 46-7! He finished in the top 5 three years in a row. He played in four-straight BCS games. 4 BCS games. Are you listening to me?

He went 33-3 in his conference!

He averaged 11.5 wins a season in his first four seasons ever as a head coach. Please find me the college football coach in history to have this much success this fast. He's an animal. You should kiss your children tonight, put a pillow on the floor, and pray with them on the side of their little racecar bed that a leader like Chip Kelly decides to take control of our football program.

I don't know. I think we should hire a guy with a psychology and/or anthropology degree so he can understand the secret and arcane south florida high school football scene. We need a scientist, not a coach.

Did he ever have to deal with NCAA sanctions or has he only caused them?

Flame away. For the record I think he'd be a fantastic hire but I like to ask questions.

Would be an incredible hire and we'd make the playoffs every year. Probably the scariest thing to happen to college football if we landed him.

It's no secret our fanbase is infiltrated by brainless morons. For god sakes some think Mario is a "good fit". People are really stupid.

He is probably perfect fit for UM when you take into account his personality and system.

I would **** out of my mouth if we were somehow able to land him.
 
Only a total facqot would question anything about hiring Chip. For all the "fit" guys, this guy would be the ultimate fit at UM. If someone created the perfect HC for UM it would be that little dumpling.

And, OP, that 1st post is everything. It's what I was arguing when people were questioning his defense in the thread where I was pimping him. You don't need to question a facet of a HC's game when he posts records like that. You question offense or defense when a guy loses games. You question nothing when a guy kills everyone every week like Chip does.

And, lest anyone forgets, he was doing it in a state that produces no D1 talent. Here, all he'd have to do is be introduced as HC, and we'd be rolling in any recruits he wanted.

You wouldn't even call it recruiting anymore. He'd be selecting guys; he wouldn't be recruiting.
 
But but we need a recruiter! We need a guy that understands South Florida recruiting! LOL Could you imagine the look on the faces of the SoFl HS head coaches that are shilling for Mario if Chip Kelly was hired? Priceless!

The best part about Kelly is that guys like gim, JJ, Patterson, Briles are all of the same recruiting philosophy. They don't waste time trying to beg the 5 star kid to come. They take all the fast guys and teach them to play football. Saves a ton of time that now gets spent on actual football stuff, and the staff doesn't have to be filled with the likes of Ice Harris, James Coley, and Larry Scott.
