Ya but being worth $500M and giving $10M - if we're consistent with other big boosters giving a relatively close % Jose Mas being worth $1.2B would give $24M, when Ruiz is worth $22B he could give over $200M and that's just if it's all relative to what Lemonis is offering with his $10M.10 million is nice and all but that aint **** when thinking about building a stadium.
We still on his *** on Twitter.
Didn’t know where to put this but…. If Mario is the HC, he won’t be bringing Morehead with him
Sadly this is what is likely to happen and until the diehards that go no matter what just don't show up anymore and the program implodes completely, then it won't matter. We will need no one in those stands.I am done if this happens. Cancelling my dumb *** ACC network plan and not going to a single game.

I will say most ADs probably are not well versed in that area. However, what he should have done is call the HR attorneys or a reputable firm to lay that all out.Happy to differ but there is only one legal test. As a military lawyer I dealt with these all the time. The legal standard has absolutely nothing to do with a church's position. What matters is if he has true and sincere religious belief. All exemptions are written this way because you don't want to go down the rabbit hole of telling people how to interpret their faith. There is a huge contingent of catholic bishops who say the vaccine should be refused because it was derived from aborted fetal tissue. It's not the ADs job to say "I believe the group of bishops who say catholics can get the exemption over the group that says you shouldnt."
now that doesn't mean he gets to go around coughing on everyone without a mask. The correct way to deal with the religious exemption is to err on the side of person requesting it (religious freedom being a fundamental right) and then put all sorts of conditions like constant testing, distancing, etc. If he violates the conditions, then he can be fired for cause. Any halfway competent AD should know this. WSU is going to lose the lawsuit and will be paying Rolovich a lot of money, especially since the school initially granted the exemption and Chung overturned it. The lawsuit (which Rolovich will win) will be 100% on Chung. He had a very easy way of accommodating the exemption while giving WSU and airtight reason to fire him for cause if he violated the accomodations. Any AD too dumb to know this, or so politically motivated he ignores basic steps that would make sure WSU was on firm ground if it terminated Rolovich, should not be a candidate for AD.
I still don’t think more people would attend games.Totally agree, but it would be a nice start. As nice as Hard Rock is, I truly think we would benefit more with having our own stadium. We won't go down this rabbit hole again lol Maybe the new AD pushes this initiative down the road.
Winning solves all...and Mario!I still don’t think more people would attend games.
Lol we all know unless it’s a big game the attendance is what it is…Winning solves all...and Mario!
I will quote The Rock:
"Come on Juanka... pull your pants down and prove to Twitter that youre not a woman"
I don't know if it will or won't happen, or whether it should or shouldn't, but one other piece to this puzzle. He has an MLS team that needs a stadium and has not been able to push it over the finish line for whatever reason. Maybe getting the county's largest employer, that is a 501(c)(3), and has long standing emotional ties involved is what is needed to get this done.Follow the breadcrumbs, amigo.
Who is Miami football’s biggest benefactor?
Jose Mas.
The guy who seemingly showed up out of nowhere…why just a few months ago, all anyone ever talked about was Soffer and DiMare….nobody ever heard of Jose Mas because he wasn’t involved until now.
And what does our newfound billionaire friend do for a living, you ask? He’s the CEO of MasTec.
And what is MasTec, you may be saying to yourself? Why it’s one of the biggest construction and infrastructure companies in the country for all manner of complex projects.
Curious indeed.
If I had to create a trustee in a test tube whose only purpose in life was to build Miami a stadium, it would be Jose Mas.
Piece it together yourself.
Hard Rock is a cavernous amusement park 40 minutes from campus. The need for our own 50k seat stadium closer to Coral Gables is glaring considering we play in a half empty stadium every week.Totally agree, but it would be a nice start. This is the weirdest thing I’ve read on here in a while... and that’s saying something with how the last few weeks have been.Welp, I'll be messaging every recruit not to come here through Twitter. This school doesn't give AF about football and will continue to ruin the kids player development that want to put on for Miami.

Your either trolling, our you are a genuine weirdo.
we’ve always played in a half empty stadium even at the OB. More people still won’t come even if the stadium was closer to campus.Hard Rock is a cavernous amusement park 40 minutes from campus. It's $1M a year for like the next 10 years. If we had a stadium built it probably not going to be done until at least 2025 at the earliest. 5-6 years for $1M a year even if you had to buyout 100% of that agreement is just pennies to the entire project they would be diving into.the talk about a new stadium is great but immensely premature.
let's get the AD right and the HBC right and everything will fall into place down the road. a top notch AD and new BOT money might make it happen, but it's a long shot. there is a lease agreement that would need to be terminated. not sure if that is possible.
