On Sitkowski

In before Awsi Dooger comes in here with his plaid slacks waistband pulled up to his nipples and gives you a piece of his mind....just like he does to anyone unfortunate enough to be seated in his section at any sporting event on the planet.

The only hope is for Miami to wear as many alternate unis as possible, since he refused to attend the FSU game a couple years ago because the orange helmets hurt his feelings.

What are the expectations for him? If you expect him to win the job as a freshman qb then you will be disappointed. The kid has the tools you want a qb to have, physically speaking. Coaching, development, and what is in between the ears will be the driving force in his success or failure.

Agreed. He's got the goods physically, and worst case has at least 3 years of development time (inc IMG) until he would need to see the field for us. Hopefully he becomes another Vinny/Ben/Bortles type, but even if not, I think Richt will have a backup plan by then.

I'm so glad you MF's don't determine who we recruit.

Agreed. I don't understand why some like Milton so much more than Sitkowski. There is literally nothing to back that up. Both had bad junior seasons, so might as well toss that argument against Sitkowski out. With that out of the way, I'm having a hard time seeing exactly what Milton has over Artur.

It's especially bad over on ITU. Most of those guys are clueless anyway, but I was dumbfounded reading every single one of them talking about how much better Milton is (before Sit committed, of course. Now they all love him, go figure).

I just find it funny that they get all excited about a kid like Perry...who's a raw prospect who's tape is nothing but verticals...but then question a kid who's size, strength, technique and footwork is far superior. I watched his Junior tape and he's throwing ropes all over the field and his footwork/technique is awesome! He's a huge kid who's obviously a well-coached product.

People on here are stat nerds. News flash...COLLEGE COACHES DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR STATS!!!

Boom! Macho knows his ****. Prolly has to do with being Italian, but we can discuss that later. Sit shows actual QB traits that we all killed Kaaya for not having. Bad stats but who watched his footwork and delivery? Macho nailed this one.

I know some people may cringe at the name, but I watched Sitkowski's highlights for the first time. First play and he instantly reminded me of Collin Klein with his running. Klein measured in at 6'5 and 226lbs at the NFL combine. Sitkowski is pretty much already 6'6 and 222lbs. They also have the same release.

Colin Klein has average arm, wasn't accurate, awkward delivery and had no mechanics. He was compared to Tebow coming out. Sitkowski doesn't have an awkward delivery, is considered to have a big arm, quick release and good mechanics. Other than that Great comparison

apparently sitkowski was BALLING today

247 writer on him
Miami's Top247 quarterback commit Artur Sitkowski has every physical trait coveted at the position. Rat Pak was 2-0 in the games he took the majority of the snaps in. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Sitkowksi is polished throwing the football, was in rhythm with his receivers from the day's first snap, and he looked effortless throwing all routes.

Another reporter said
Miami QB commit Artur Stokowski was outstanding tonight. In the discussion for Alpha Dog.

they also said Milton was inconsistent but has upside. He will be a gator. Was throwing up gator chomps a lot. So all this I want Milton over sitkowski was pointless. He was going to be a gator anyway and that's the offer he's waiting for.

Sitkowski was dropping dimes all day... really excited about his upside and physical tools
Sitkowski and Milton are on the same 7on7 team

They also said jobe had as much upside as any cb there. Had several 5 star dbs there I believe and also that al blades was fantastic

Hope the kid balls out with pads on. Without pads, the kid looks flawless. I feel like I'm watching Ivan Drago when I watch the kid!

Football ain't played in shorts unless it's the annual Booty Bowl in Wilton Manors. There's absolutely no question in anyone's mind that young Arturo wrecks **** in shorts with no pass rush.

I'm excited to see how he does in actual football games this year. It's impossible to gauge anything important about a QB in all this 7 on 7 facguitry. Everyone knows the physical tools are there.

When do the idiots around here finally figure out that everyone looks great when it's flag football?

We have some terrible fans, had it been any other qb committed to another team some of you would be hyping them up right now or a db recruit like jobe/Campbell. Would you still be saying it's just shorts if they balled? No.... but if sitkowski was having a bad day you would be all over him... quit trying be so indifferent all the **** time so if a player happens to fail you can go back and say I told you so years later.

I always say "It's just in shorts" when in fact, it's just in shorts.

Sorry if that boggles your mind broke.

I'll leave it to the experts that do the evaluations and the coaches that get paid millions to find the right players. Seems like CMR has found a great one. He looks like a 5 star physically, he's continued to improve and will continue to get coached up at IMG. After a strong season, he could be a 5 star. Go be a b*tch somewhere else
