On Ny Carr...Staying at UM

Besides Carr...

Popo
Even his bio on Miami's roster page shows he wasn't heavily recruited by UGA and from recollection he also had a family connection to the city of Miami as well.

My point was (which you clearly fail to comprehend) is that if Ny Carr was a can't miss prospect there is 0% chance that UGA/Bama/Auburn would have allowed him to
Your entire premise is based on players “they really want”. What are you basing that on? So any guy they didn’t sign was just a guy they were only pretending to want?

Prove that Georgia purposely passed on Carr.

You can’t. All the evidence says otherwise. You’re making a blind statement based on your assumptions. You WANT to believe that Georgia passed on Carr because…..?

Let’s not forget that Georgia had one of the worst wide receiver groups in the country last year but somehow they were still so incredibly accurate at evaluating WR talent that they could afford to pass on a local top 100 player at a position they were desperate for. That same incredible eye for wide receiver talent decided to overpay for Colbie Young in the transfer portal.

Believe what you want buddy. We don't get top 100 players from GA/AL that they want. I'm done slamming my head against the wall in this conversation with you.

I know the family well...they wanted him bad he just told them no and he wasnt interested. He had a committable offer
I like popo alot but uga signed the 2nd,4th, and 6th ranked LB in the country that year i don’t think they wanted the 33rd ranked lb more than those guys. Im sure they showed interest but he was most likely plan c or d for them

I like popo alot but uga signed the 2nd,4th and 6th ranked lb that year, im sure they wanted those guys way more than the 33rd ranked lb. Im sure the offer was real but it was most likely a fall back option if their other plans failed

Understood! You're wrong! But Understood. He legit told them no and they looked elsewhere hence signing the other guys. They never pulled his offer so they wanted him.
