On Myson Johnson-Cook

Every 3 months Dennis Smith is the boogie man all over again.

I'm not saying whether he's actually good bad or has too much power cause idk.

But was anyone crediting him when we nailed our last 2 classes?

When you only put blame on a guy, that Mario keeps putting in charge, and we keep getting good recruits, makes you wonder if everyone blaming him is just misplacing the blame cause it's easy target.

Smart roster building is what teams saw us do. It’s what OSU stopped immediately and upped it on DJ Jacob’s. Teams will start spending heavy on OL and DL way more especially if we target them. So we better pony up cause we lost already two late, and it won’t get easier cause the price will keep going up.

But some recruitments are about more than needs
This is huge for optics esp after missing on cook
Gamble is another miss
Has to make a statement
I feel like both sides have fair points. It will look bad if we don’t win, that’s when it looks bad turns into it’s hurting us real bad. Especially if the misses ball out. If we win and the guys we have look elite it won’t be as bad but that’s not guaranteed like most think.

Lets not start that ****. Auburn could have a **** OL and he breaks it to the house and get drafted. But with how they run their offense with how wide the secondary players have to be. He is gonna have tons of room to run. He is gonna do well there. Lets not be UF and FSU fans who cant think logically. The fat QB from Ohio State was saying the same thing when we brought in Francis' class.
Have no idea what you’re talking about. He very well may have an excellent career and end up a first round draft pick. Good for him.

Simply stating Miami has a better chance of winning a natty than Auburn.

I don’t believe this is delusional. Maybe you do.

Also this reads as many had discussed after he visited Auburn. They outbid Miami and in the end Miami decided to allocate funds differently. You can’t overpay for RB. It just isn’t a smart business model, see the nfl.

This also implies Miami plans to keep landing elite OL so hopefully that means Matthews. I’m fine with the decision to not match money on a RB.
Yup. RB is a position you can evaluate and develop. You don’t need to overvalue anyone. You get sure things at top tier positions.

Use your big boy words because i didn’t insinuate what you’re tryna clown me on. That’s if you actually have something of substance to say.

Stop with the tough guy routine and don’t take things so seriously. Yeah I know he’s a scapegoat people love to blame things on but the reality is a lot more than random tweets.

RB develop? Man running back you either have it or you don’t. The only thing that can be developed is probably route running and pass blocking.

You must have reading comprehension problems because no one blamed him for everything as i wrote; unless you read D$’s post as a blame game. Take that up with him — not me, Dummy.

I’m just calling a clown a clown.

This RB is not a generational player like AP. Most likely anyway. Crazy athletic but he's only #4 for a reason. Context is important. Pringle was #4 on one site and #8 in another BTW. Lyle was #1. We can find a RB petty easily from South Florida or Florida.

Keep stacking chips and onto the next target 🎯
I agree. I wanted this kid but to be fair I don't think we ever need to leave the state for a RB.

People expecting to win every recruiting battle. We get guys with 5 posts that only come to the board when we lose a game or miss on a recruit. Its hilarious seeing them lose their minds. Miami will lose more recruiting battles going forward but they also will win plenty. Its no coincidence that the kids we miss on get the longest running threads on here. Its a shame tho that we dont celebrate the kids that chose us more.

Everything you said is exactly the lines used against us in 2023. We celebrate Bain and Francis coming here off 5-7. FSU was more likely to win than us when Cristobal came in. The players came here.

Miami has top-end money in college football. But, it's a fool's errand to spend top dollar on a RB out of high school.
Prime example year over year is S.Barkley with the giants to the eagles

Dude was a Maserati in a run down city before going to Philly being complimented with a big strong oline and outside weapons and took home and MVP season and Super Bowl
