Fire the black UM hero for doing better than the white guy outsider. Keep in mind it was also the black guy's first HC gig compared to the veteran white HC.

Also keep in mind that the white guy got paid a lot more and was given infinitely better resources than the black guy. How else can you explain away that sort of racist garbage?

a black guy with a National Championship pedigree that is a proven X's and O's coach. One that developed the likes of Vilma, Wilfork, DJ Williams, Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Dan Morgan... And more importantly, a black man that was most likely the sole reason we didn't get the death penalty from the NCAA due to his efforts to keep Shapiro away from our student athletes. While Golden has multiple players drugging and raping girls on campus.

correct, Golden just drives around Liberty City in his $100,000 Escalade, wearing his $4000 Brioni suits, while convincing these poor kids to forgo Millions of dollars in draft potential by buying into his inability to develop their talents. Cant get more racist than that!

I really with all of my heart hope you are not serious about your racist rant. Randy Shannon was a terrible choice for Miami and Al Golden was a terrible choice who looked like a good choice. Playing the race card actually contributes to racism.

It's not racist.. Just funny ole white boy gets free pass after free pass. Because he can talk eloquently and get all the whites to donate. They don't care about wins just about well spoken white boys who can speak well under the pressure of 15 microphones in their face after a game.

Shannon sucked so we fired him and tried the passionate dude who turned around a ****** football program in Temple. As you mentioned, Shannon was a first time HC, while Golden was a "veteran HC." THAT is why Golden was paid more.

You sound racist for spewing this garbage. Firing Shannon and hiring Golden wasn't.

What is going on with this board? Take out the race of what you wrote. Golden can talk eloquently which has helped him keep his job. It also helps that he had to deal with the cloud mess. This has nothing to do with race.

Regarding the ranking of some of our underclassmen, the Ourlads scouting service is a respected source. In their 2015 Draft Preview booklet they have Duke Johnson rated 5th among underclass running backs. He is behind Gurley, Gordon, Yeldon, and Ayaji of Boise State.

The highest rated guy is Flowers. He is second among underclass tackles, behind only Peat of Stanford.

Among the seniors, Dorsett is listed as a slot receiver. They have him third, behind Greene of Florida State and Lockett of Kansas State.

Big jump for Walford. I've seen that on many draft sites. He has improved his standing more than anybody on our team. Ourlads has Walford the second best senior tight end, behind only O'Leary.

Otherwise, McDermott is listed 8th at center. Feliciano is 7th at guard. That seems high to me, but whatever. At this point in the season the bigger name schools sometimes hog the second and third tier slots before the smaller school guys gain greater spotlight.

Along those lines, Chickillo is 7th at defensive end.

Pierre is named as 23rd defensive tackle.

Perryman is second at inside linebacker, below only Jake Ryan of Michigan.

None of our outside linebackers make the list, either upperclass or underclass. Likewise, none of the cornerbacks or safeties are named at all. That's what I was emphasizing in the 2015 defense thread, that our defensive tackles regulate our upside and the defensive backs are disappointing and not nearly as good as their name recognition or high school reputation led us to believe.

That senior defensive tackle list has guys from Wyoming, Montana, Houston, San Jose State, Northern Iowa and even Texas A&M-Commerce before Pierre is listed. Iowa has two seniors on that list far above Pierre's standing. Let's not pretend it's solely scheme when it comes to our defensive tackles.

Golden didn't have sanctions or loss of schollys either until last year... Randy came into a tougher situation... The stigma of "Thug U"... He had to fight the brawl, the shootings of Willie Cooper and Merriweather, the deaths of ST and Pata, and the fear that parents had concerning sending their kids here... Oh the cloud didn't compare to that especially because it was based around free drinks and strip teases... OSU, PSU and USC had it much harder and all have better programs than us...

That being said Randy would not have a worse record than Al because his predicament was worse yet he accomplished more... Al had talent and squandered it...And RS was on his 1st gig... This isnt Al's 1st gig... Our standards was compromised when we celebrated Al's extension while getting blowed out by BC...
