So to recap, the following players from the 2013 team that got mopped by Duke and Virginia Tech have made it to the NFL:

QB Stephen Morris
HB Duke Johnson
TE Clive Walford
WR Allen Hurns
WR Phillip Dorsett
OL Ereck Flowers
OL Brandon Linder
OL Jon Feliciano
OL Seantrel Henderson

DL Anthony Chickillo
DL Olsen Pierre
LB Denzel Perryman
LB Thurston Armbrister
S Deon Bush
CB Ladarius Gunter
CB Artie Burns
CB Tracy Howard

Stacy Coley and Rayshawn Jenkins are still pending. Shane McDermott was All-ACC first team and made a practice squad.

Remember our conversation in Orlando at halftime of the Louisville fiasco? None of this is really a surprise, but it's absolutely disgusting to see validated. I think an interesting comparison would be to take a look at the talented Louisville squad that absolutely mauled us:

QB Teddy Bridgewater (Miami kid)
WR Devanta Parker
WR Eli Rogers (Miami kid)
DE BJ Dubose (Broward kid)
OL Jake Smith (not sure if he made Cincy)
OL John Miller (Miami kid)
LB James Burgess (practice squad - Miami f'in legacy)
DL Sheldon Rankins
DB Gerod Holliman (practice squad - Miami kid)

I'm sure I am missing some. I just took a quick peek.

the reason we should all be giddy as a little girl with the Mark Richt hire and our future and season, inspite of the depth issues.

Not to defend AL, because he does suck. But the difference between that list and previous lists from the U is actual participation. How many of those dudes start? Or are even contributors once the regular season starts?

Now, should we have at least won the coastal? Yes we should have. That staff is horrible

You do understand that some of that was also on golden? The guys rotations made no sense and would literally bench players for making plays ala Tracy Howard and Luther Robinson

Asante Cleveland is in the NFL too. Malcolm Bunche was on the OL. Justin Renfrow and Luther Robinson had NFL stints. Kamalu was drafted right? Beau Sandland might make a team. Pat O'Donnell was the punter.

Not the least bit surprising, as we knew it at the time, but maddening nonetheless.

How many players do the teams that beat us have in the NFL?

Yup.

****, look at the year ending top 25 from any hear, big drop-off in NFL draftees from about 11-25.

Losing with talent is all on coaching, the last staph was historically, systematically, & consistently futile.

Not only was Goldilocks historically bad in terms of his defense, he was so blatantly fraudulent.

Mark Richt challenges for the National Championship with that team smh

It doesn't matter if they start. There are 32 NFL teams with a 50 player (?) roster max. That means only the elite of the elite get a chance to be on NFL rosters.

There are 128 D1 teams with 85 guys on each roster plus a million FCS and lower level colleges sending guys to the NFL. Numbers. The numbers are staggering.

This but you also have to look at our opponents during that time and see comparatively what the numbers were for them.

Al Golden was nothing more than a corrupt politician posing as a football coach.

Someone figure out how many players from the 2013 Duke, Vag Tech and Louisville teams are currently on an NFL roster.

I venture to guess less than 17.

Three of them were first rounders. Hurns is already one of the top young receivers in the league. Henderson and Linder were Day One starters. Perryman, Duke and Walford made big plays and are projected by various media outlets as breakout stars.

Armbrister and Feliciano started games as rookies. Gunter and Chickillo saw action in the playoffs. The more time goes by the more damning this list will look.
