OL Recruiting

Not sure what you consider the "region", but S. Florida is not exactly know for producing great offensive linemen.

Its not, but there are plenty to sprinkle into your recruiting. John Miller, Sam Young, Marcus Gilbert, Joe Looney, Ereck Flowers, Justin McCray, Denver Kirkland...among many others are in the league and from SoFla. You don't have to load up with SoFla OL...probably a foolish move, but you should get a couple.

The kid is an athletic former basketball player, has gained a ton of weight and strength, and is now getting college coaching. Should be considered a good thing that he's flashing early. He'll probably redshirt still and hopefully impact in his RS freshman year.

I'm not mad a kid is working his butt off and is in the 2 deep as an athletic player. Maybe he was criminally underrated and a lot of people just missed on him? OL is probably just as hard as QB is to project from HS to college how a player will develop and transition. Add to it the staffs we have had over the last 6-8 years have either been in over their heads or in retirement mode.

The dominate Miami squads was built with OL from South Florida.

Mahoney was poor but what does it say about Gaynor that he couldn't beat him out at guard?

Im not hyped about Gaynor either. Dude has some of the heaviest feet I have ever seen. There is a reason why he was just a 2* no matter how many kids he put on their back in HS.

A No* OL with no P5 offers shouldnt be able to just walk in as a early enrollee and be on the second team OL. That is **** poor recruiting and development.
Looks like you stumbled on an answer that satisfies "you". Roll with that.

What people often dismiss is Diaz possibly challenging him to see what he is actually capable of doing by having him go against some competition against legit players rather than a bunch of walk ons. Coaches do this ALL the time

I am far from a Star *****, But I am definitely an offer ***** and he didnt have any thus why I am trying to have a discussion about it
I think you're looking for attention. Are you lonely? Out of work? You say you're trying to have a discussion then go on to account 8 of the next 31 posts in a thread you started. And you answered your own question early in the thread. Then you want to snap at anyone who disagrees with your point of view.

You must be lonely or starving for attention. I'm sure someone will play.

PROCEDE.

I guess SE Florida. The last 2 years alone, there has been like 15 P5 Level OL that was signed. We only got 1 in Scaife.
Seriously? Dade, Broward and Palm Beach?
2019 - Wilson and Fox
2018 - Scaife
That's it unless you EXPAND SE Florida or dip down to 3 star kids...
Have you had your Snickers today?

Maybe you need to go deeper in your research.

The star whores are blind to real talent and still dont get it, but your post/response, thank you sir:

Iowa has continually recruited low-star athletic bodies and bulked them up to be NFL OL and DL players. Not all of them for sure, but every year one or more. For example this year they have the top 2 tight ends in the draft...
