OL Recruiting

I understand, but it's also partly cultural down here. A guy like Frierson is an example I keep hearing about - "he doesn't like to hit enough." I've even heard a family member of his say that jokingly about him. But, when push has now apparently come to shove, he's willing to play a hybrid LB role? [Future] money and opportunity talk. If the kids' mindsets were seeded differently from earlier, we'd see a difference.

Down here, if you're pretty good, even adults encourage future NFL DBs to stay at QB (or only play QB) or RB, etc. I get many of these guys are the best athletes and have to play QB for their team, as one example, but keep an eye toward the bigger picture? Maybe that's too much to ask. I don't know.

For example...Ice Harris youngest son. Dude watched his older bro play the EXACT role he did in high school and go to UM and make it to the league. Yet in his mind he was a qb and nothing else...yet ended up having to play WR at Tenn State to end his college career. Kid could have played cb from the gate and had a shot at nfl like older bro did.

Which is why even at the youth level i tell the kids or try them at all the spots because they will not play what they played in youth ball majority of the time in high school.

Naw he is better at tackle. Always was. He is more comfortable outside actually

All last year, I thought he looked like a guard playing tackle. Choppy steps, a little too much of a leaner, a little too stiff in the hips as a natural tackle.

Looks like a guy that we are playing at tackle because we really don't have any other options.

We'll see how he holds up at LT. Hopefully he steps up in a way Donaldson could not.

If you’re scared, get a dog.

I already had a service animal. Her name was Cornpoe. Through the fenceposts on the hill I could see them hitting, across the pasture towards where the flag was. Me and Cornpoe was looking for to find some balls that had gotten lost so we could get a nickel, but I wasn't looking too hard on account of it felt so nice to see the men there on that bright green field, and Cornpoe was just sniffing in a bush not saying nothing because she ain't but an old hound.

I sure did love that old dog, but that was before the truck come down the road and I yelled for Cornpoe to come back, but she didn't hear and the noise from the motor was so loud it filled my head up with the roar and then it was too late, too late. And the crash, and the noise from the horn blowing, like it was saying Yah. Yah. Yaaaaaahhhh.

So where are the names of all the 4 and 5 Star OLineman from Dade, Broward and Palm Beach... You stated this bullchit thread and still no Names. Just made up bullchit numbers....
2018 - Scaife - is a Cane
2019 - Fox (USCe) and Wilson (UF)
Don't give me 3 star crap either... just 4 stars or more across the board... Waiting?

So you moved the goal post to fit your argument. Gotcha

I said P5 Level OL

2016 The State of Florida had 16 OL sign with Power 5 schools and 33 total signed with FBS schools - Miami signed 0
2017 The State of Florida had 21 OL sign with Power 5 schools and 47 total signed with FBS schools - Miami signed 3
2018 The State of Florida had 19 OL sign with Power 5 schools and 41 total signed with FBS schools - Miami signed 3
2019 The State of Florida had 22 OL sign with Power 5 Schools and 47 total signed with FBS schools - Miami signed 0

So in the past 4 OL recruiting cycles the entire state of Florida had 78 OL sign with Power 5 schools, Miami only signed freaking 6 OL in 4 years. In the same time period. That means we are only signing 7% of the P5 level OL kids in the State of Florida.

Stop being an idiot. The entire state of Florida! If they are not from Dade, Broward and Palm Beach we have no greater advantage over them as any other school in Florida. Wake the F up. Lastly, we are ALL tired of JAG's...…. 4 and 5 star kids should be standard. No more projects!!! We need studs... Your stats are bullchit, just like this thread.

The only person here that is idiot is you. 4 and 5* kids can be JAGS too dont get it twisted. And by your ignorant logic if they arent from the Tri-County but from the State of Florida then we shouldnt even bother recruiting them.

Oh and my stats are facts

A No* OL with no P5 offers shouldnt be able to just walk in as a early enrollee and be on the second team OL. That is **** poor recruiting and development.
Does anyone know how may stars Bryant McKinnie was out of high school? I'm curious if it was his grades or he was a late bloomer.
