Ol Pete letting loose

The U Administration has been doing damage control in the media lately defending their ineptitude..

They learned this tactic from the NCAA bull **** investigation. They would all feel better if they admitted they fcked up, fire Golden and James and hire Butch. When the lower revenue hits them pocket, they may change their way of thinking, or maybe cancel the program.

Keep the Heat up fella's! Take it to Twitter and any other social media forums. The idiots running UM Athletics will respond and we will attack some more!

As FANS, voices have to be heard publicly. We have to show our anger and frustration. Look to Michigan. It led to the stepping down of the AD. Folks, we can either sit back and stew on a message board or be proactive and address the situation.

For me, I've sent a personal letter to Blake James letting him know that I will not renew season tickets without coaching changes. Will not contribute to the Hurricane Club. Will not get a suite like I did this year for the FSU game which cost $12k for future games. Will continue my Twitter campaign to ridicule the Admin and Golden.

I alone am a speck of dirt to UM, but thousands of specks of dirt creates a mess that has to be cleaned up! Let's force the cleanup!

Lol at the UM athletic department responding to Pete

I know that Fonz guy. Mid-level ticket sales guy. KOOL aid sipper.

I felt he only made Miami look worse. Sometimes silence is Golden. ;)

He reminds of those perky little idiots you find at Benigan's and TGIFs...you know
the ones that wear 20 goofy buttons on their shirts and interrupt your table every 2
minutes trying to get you to order dessert.
Loser.

Kudos to Pete for doing this. Brave move. Interesting that someone actually responded from the AD(the spin machine was on).
They can respond all they want. They have a very angry fan base out there. Their ticket sales are going to take a hit along with donations. There isn't a single lie they can tell or a hashtag they can tweet that can change that. Firing golden and hiring a legit Head coach would be a good start.

Begs the question:

If a stadium is renovated but no one goes inside to see it......does it really get renovated?

most damning photo of the whole doc.

They think people are bluffing with the season ticket and donation stuff.

He's right. It all comes down to the next president. That'll determine if we return or not. First thing first, fire Golden. Then

We need someone that WANTS to have a winning program.
That embraces our past.
And that hires a great AD and then steps out of the way.

what sucks is that were stuck w another year of golden even if the new president wants to fire him.

The admin sucks but they're not the ones who can't manage a ******* a football game. A competent coaching staff takes this year's roster to the ACCCG and probably wins. Now imagine if that same coaching staff evaluated talent somewhat successfully so the team isn't littered with bricklaying scrubs that provide no depth of talent.

Miami has unique competitive advantages that should enable the football program to succeed even without funding and facilities that are comparable to the elite. Instead we hear a bunch of "cloud" BS, excuses, rationalizations and spin-doctoring.

Sure, better funding should theoretically lead to a better coaching staff, but I'm not buying that excuse one bit. Every year there are good coaches hired away from the MAC (Jerry Kill, Butch Jones, Brian Kelly, etc.) yet we wound up with the Fat Al sideshow. Perhaps if the admin/AD evaluated prospective candidates based on their coaching acumen rather than their morals, values, speaking ability and dedication to the pillars of success, we would have a winning program. We don't need an expensive proven Power 5 or NFL coach, we just need a guy with some FBS HC experience who can work with some talent without installing a rigid stubborn plan.

This board makes it seem like Butch Davis is some savior but the reality is he's just one of many competent coaches who could step into Miami and not **** things up. Contrary to Fat Al's BS PR mindgames there is no extreme rebuilding "process". We're right on the cusp of being a competitive football program, we just need the right staff to put the polish on recruiting, personnel usage and schematic gameplanning/playcalling. This isn't rocket science, it's just football.

also never use the same search firm again.

I hope we hire the same search firm that "found" Randy Shannon. That $35k they gave Neinas was certainly money well spent.

Only UM would pay Chuck Neinas 35k to tell them their next head coach was down the hall.
Why even have an athletic director if you're going to take one of the most important jobs away from him? Who hires a search committee when they have an AD? Is that SOP at other schools?

Michigan is using a search firm right now.

Yeah I'm sure the AD is quivering at the thought of losing your $200 season tickets and your angry hashtags.
