Oh No Tenneessee - Schiano Hired - And Fired 8 Hours Later

Four-star senior cornerback Jaycee Horn of Alpharetta (Ga.) High School announced Sunday afternoon that he has decommitted from Tennessee.

The 6-foot, 174-pound Horn, who had been committed to the Vols for more than three months, made his decision known after reports started to surface Sunday afternoon indicating that Tennessee is nearing a deal to make Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano its next coach.

Lol at Tennessee. If it was Art Briles they wouldn't be protesting. The double standard because they picked a ****** coach they have to scapegoat the guy who had nothing to do with that scandal except a guy from the media accusing him.

Half these clowns would be voting for Roy Moore if they lived 200 miles to the south. 3 quarters of them would let Saban diddle their own children if it meant he'd take their $hitty job.

Just wow at this faux outrage from Tennessee fans. Butch Jones literally covered up a rape at Tennessee. Where were these protests against their current scumbag coach?

No matter how you feel about Schiano, the Tennessee fans slandered the guy. I doubt they get a top coach to go there.

The good news for them is their backup guys - Lane Kiffin and Mike Leach are retarded enough to still take the job if offered.

"There are reports that TN will owe Schiano $20 million in a buyout for a contract that was signed but TN backed out of it. But only speculation on this. Fox Sports Knoxville mentioned this."

Dear God Please let this be true..

Tennessee has backed out of a memorandum of understanding with Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano to be the Volunteers' next football coach, sources told ESPN's Chris Low.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by both parties Sunday in Columbus, Ohio. But when news broke that Tennessee was close to finalizing a deal with Schiano earlier Sunday, there was public outcry among Tennessee fans, with people citing his alleged connection to the Jerry Sandusky era at Penn State.

Schiano, Urban Meyer's defensive coordinator at Ohio State, and Tom Bradley, defensive coordinator under recently fired UCLA coach Jim Mora, were both Penn State assistants under Joe Paterno during Sandusky's tenure.

Both have denied allegations of their knowledge of child abuse by Sandusky from a 2015 deposition by ex-Penn State assistant Mike McQueary. The allegations became public in July 2016, at which time both Meyer and Mora defended their assistants' integrity.

What a wild ride.
