Tennessee is right here. They need to hire a man that is an upstanding citizen that has never diddled or been complicit in the diddling of children.
They need a man that has coached at big time programs in the ACC and the SEC and knows what it takes to be a head coach at the highest level.
They also need to hire a master recruiter that knows the hotbed of Texas, the deep South and the State of Florida.

Yup. Schiano was only going to set them back 5 years not the fans have just made it 10. Without a coach.
At this point if I’m a coach with a decent career and on the rise I’m staying out of the SEC until Saban either retires or dies.

Look, it’s pretty remarkable that UT fans were able to get the hire called off, but their outrage had nothing to do with some throwaway statement during a deposition. It was just something they used against Schiano so he didn’t get hired. They wanted some big name coach who would instantly restore credibility. Instead they were about to get Greg Schiano. A re-tread. I actually feel bad for the guy;he got labeled a pedophile enabler because a bunch of hilljack retards think they deserve better than a guy like him who is a solid coach and would do well there.
That said, I fully supported the extensive investigation into Al Golden and Mark D’onofrio’s backgrounds and ties to PSU when they were at Miami.

Pretty low move. They have no idea if this guy was gunna be able to give them a few good years and possibly make a run. At worst he’d have them with a top teir defense in a conference with no offense. If he developed the slightest bit of a run game he’d have them in the champ game just like UGA. But instead they slander the guy.
