White people are soon going to be coming up with their own stories soon. **** is getting lit in the the real world. Crazy stuff is said on the field and courts, but does he have a traxk record through the years? **** if I know, but it's apparently dogpile time on anyone ever.
 
He’s made tens of millions. I’m sure he’ll enjoy Saturday’s on his boat this season. Good luck in retirement Mike.

Saying it doesn't matter when he said it is dumb as ****. If we're all held to that lofty standard, we're all screwed from days when we were too young, dumb, heated, or in the moment however many years ago.

I’m more than ok being accountable for what I say and do. Thirty minutes or thirty years, it’s still me... scumbags are going to scumbag.

Let’s presume this story has merit, and Gundy indeed said these things 30+ years ago.

So? What about it? What are the next steps? End Gundy’s career? Demand an apology?

It’s going to be fun to watch the opposing coach defenders on this board defend this.

We’ve already got someone that needs a procession of witnesses to confirm and another that is trying to keep everyone focused on the shirt. I expect by time I check this thread tomorrow, the excuse making will be at an all time high.

should I feel badly for him. I don’t care what he watches or who he votes for, but every man should be held accountable for his actions and words. He’s a man right? Come at him... There is a difference between feeling badly and being completely rigid.

I've seen people overcome and evolve from prewired hatred towards blacks, hispanics and **** in my lifetime.

31 years is a long time.

Respectfully I’m not going to defend this or him. I’m old enough to have been around for more than thirty one years. I knew then, like I know now, that this has no excuse.

For context, I started dating my wife thirty one years ago. I’ve never cheated on her. If I had, I’m sure I would have grown/matured since. I don’t think time would have made it acceptable if I had.

There is no defending what was said years ago. There's no defending what players say to each other to this day on the fields or courts. Some real dumb, inappropriate, and outright ignorant things going both ways.

Has he evolved into a better person today? **** if I know, but people can and do change.

Would cheating 31 years ago make you a cheater today? Have you ever cheated on someone? Does that mean you're a cheater? Since you've grown/matured, would you then label yourself a cheater had you cheated? If you cheated before your wife, did you tell her you were a cheater?

If you’re trying to make a point then why’d you use a video of him defending his African American QB when the white folk said he had an “attitude” problem?

I’m not even trying to get into it with anybody. I’m not saying he said something or he didn’t say something and if he did he was wrong for it. What I do know is that this **** started over a stupid t-shirt and the mob police got after him like it was Germany in 1931. Next step, jailing anybody who disagrees with you. Funny, that’s how it happened in Cuba too.
