Officially Pursuing Grad Transfer Tyree Jackson

So I just watched his film and if you don’t want this kid here you got a ***** loose and possibly an ****.

Place him in Fedora’s system and you’ve got a dual threat weapon that can actually throw.

Our current QB room is a coke head, a ***-crazed imbecile, and a complete unknown that almost transfers every other day. I’ll take the 6’7” senior with good college production, an arm, and some speed all day thanks.

He throws for 30 tds and rushes for 12 if he comes.

We also will have 2 backs rush for or get near1000 w him behind center. 1 with double digit tds.

In addition to the physical tools, Jackson was the MAC Offensive Player of the Year. Buffalo won ten games. It's not all projection with him. He's already had success and still has untapped potential.

I prefer a more accurate passer but this guy can cause problems. According to PFF, he was the most productive downfield passer in college football last year. His arm with our speed can back the safeties up for our highly recruited tailbacks to operate.

I can live with a QB room of Tyree/Jarren/Kosi or Cade (I'm sure one will bounce) and then get back to recruiting for the 2020 class.

The guy lacks accuracy but he's a freak athletically. He's an immediate upgrade over Perry and much more talented than Rosier. He's a rich man's version of the Virginia QB. I'm in.

Didn't they say same thing about Sir Can Newton when he chose, errrrrr was bought, I mean chose Auburn coming out of JUCO?

I'm the biggest Jarren believer but we need competition. I'll take a Josh Allen type, with all his strengths and weaknesses.
We need competition bad. N'Kosi just doesn't have the maturity, and Jarren may not be ready to start against UF. Any competition helps. Jarren can be elite no doubt.

I haven’t seen a deep pass since Stephen Morris left.

Yes please.

Jarren and Perry won't beat him out if he comes in. He is a one year rental and absolutely will kill it here.

Hed transform our offense like Perkins did for UVA, except he'll have better talent around him.
I agree. There'd be no competition.

Can we get Jeff Thomas to come home? Jeez, he'd be deadly with this guy.

This man was the Offensive Player of the Year in the MAC, All-MAC First Team quarterback.

If you are passing on him...I must ask...wtf alternative do you present for this team?

I know many of you don't watch football outside of Miami, but this is a gift wrapped starter at a very important position. An NFL player. He would be coming here because he wants take his game to the next level and get to the pro game as a top QB. He's not coming here to be a backup to some scrub that couldn't beat out Malik Rosier.

He's not flawless. Thats why he's shopping himself around. To find a spot that puts him in a better position to be drafted higher.

Look guys our quarterback situation is a ******* disaster and needs to be addressed.

This is part of the reason you let go of your offensive staff. It doesn't matter what promises were made to you by the last guys, they're not here.

You want to be the starter? Compete and be the better quarterback.
