The Hurricanes are going to stick with three offensive linemen in this class after missing on 3-star offensive tackle Jalen Goss, who committed to the Seminoles. Miami won’t land official visits from 5-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere of Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Fla., or 3-star offensive guard Ed Montilus of Apopka (Fla.) High School. Petit-Frere is visiting Florida this weekend and will take his fifth official visit to Columbus the weekend of Feb. 2. The 6-5, 272-pound tackle already visited Notre Dame, Alabama and Michigan.

Montilus previously said he planned to visit the Hurricanes this coming weekend with 4-star Apopka offensive tackle William Barnes, but both shut down remaining official visits after spending last weekend in Oxford, Miss. They both visited North Carolina the weekend prior and seem destined for Chapel Hill, N.C. The Gators or Auburn could sneak in a final official visit before NSD, but Miami is out of the picture.
