The only take away from today: they still have work to do. But guess what? So does every team in the Country.

I was not impressed by Olsen, and I think maturing is the single biggest thing that would improve his game. Then I took a step back and realized the scrimmage must be so annoying for a player, especially the QB's. They can't get in any rhythm and go to the sideline and watch the film and make adjustments. It's a really disorganized setting. It really doesn't mean much.

Oh yea! The new uni's! Guess it's a new generation thing. Didn't get me to do the George Jefferson :). If that's what the new age recruits need to come here then change the ****'s up every year. I'm one of those "cats" who still can't understand young people's willingness to pay $100 or more for some sneakers! Would never trade my Cole Haan's, Johnston and Murphy or my Allen Edmonds for some Jordans!

I remember all the dimes that Morris was dropping in last year's scrimmage. Had Dmoney and others talking 1st or 2nd round pick. That really seemed to play out through the year....

So......if Olsen would have came out picking apart the D yall would still complain....The D played good and yall complain about the O.......Their were a equal amount plays made on both sides....some of you fans f***ing suck!

The good news, our leading future NFL All Pro WR is not suspended for shoving a young lady down stairs. Our Heisman QB has not caused us to come under investigation by a Federal agency. The bad news is that we still don't know if we have a QB.

One silver lining to Olsen looking lousy today is that he has no reason to be complacent heading into fall. He absolutely did not look like a guy who had locked down the quarterback position. Kaaya is a threat to his job security come fall as well as Williams if he's able to somehow take the field. Olsen has every reason to work his *** off the next 5 months. He no longer has to sit behind the senior this year, and if he doesn't beat Kaaya out for the job it's possible he might never start a game here.

You're right. There were plays on both sides of the ball. Overall I think we look like a more talented, capable team than we did at this time last year. That said we all have every reason to be worried about the QB position. They are an unknown commodity, and neither looked very good today. Maybe Olsen just had a bad day. The talent is still obvious in him. But he didn't look good today.

#UM announces spring game crowd of 12,160

Considering Michigan had 15K, I say that is pretty good.

you must have not been there today. No way anyone left that stadium today without serious concerns about our QB situation.

Everyone has been worried about it. Overanalyzing today's event will not really shed any light on what things will look like in 4-5 months. So, I will overreact about the uniforms instead.

Maybe there's a reason Williams was QB1

Naw, Golden was just being incompetent and lying to everyone and just handing Ryan the job. Not like he might have actually been a better option than Olsen or anything like that

QB situation will work itself out. Give it time. Big stage on short notice for Olsen. Kaaya's coming so we'll see we'll also get to see what he can do. I'm hoping the play of our defense and nerves caused Olsen to have the kind of day he had. Great to read that Tucker and Gus Bus ran the ball hard and taking advantage of the reps they're getting with Joe on the mends.

No injuries is probably the best news to come out of this scrimmage/game.

Olsen went from the savior to Spencer Whipple here. Have some perspective, yall.

Those of us that have liked him as a QB prospect all along, but haven't been calling him Baby Jesus, and are a little concerned by today's performance do have perspective. There should be no such thing as anointing a freshman QB the savior. Not Olsen, not Kaaya, not anybody. Kyle Wright taught us that. I hope Olsen works his *** off the next 5 months and wins the QB job going away, but I was worried about the position before today, and I'm no less worried now.

Olsen himself said he didn't even expect to play this year. That was what he said a week ago when Ryan went down

Gives u an idea of the type of approach he has had this spring. Now he is the guy.

He has to improve but he's got 5 months to get ready. Let's let him develop and see where we are in 5 months...

Thank god we have the best RB in the country

Won't read into **** for the spring game. To many things and players not trying to get hurt. Just glad nobody got really injured. Olsen will have plenty of time to get better and I am looking forward to seeing him play this next season.

Salami with the tip

Young with the INT thrown by Crow

LOL

The kid was bounce passing wide open WRs, I don't know what you were watching. 7-21 for 65 yards on a 65 yard field and an INT is not good nor promising.
