Two stone cold locks for Ls in Bama and UNC

Two losses out of FSU, VT, GT and Pitt
Don't forget about Virginia being a possible loss. We should smoke these fools, but are only 10-7 against them since joining the ACC. During that time, they have had 10 losing seasons and 0 seasons with double digit wins. Yet, they always play us tough and sometimes win. Even when we win, they are more physical than us. They are garbage. They probably beat us last year if not for having tons of mistakes and more incompetent coaching than we showed.

We always have the inexplicable loss somewhere. Think of Ga Tech 2019. Lose at home after GT had loss to Citadel.
WTF was that about ?

The inexplicable losses come from trash offense. That will happen far less now that we have a modern offense.

Last year was a step forward because we beat the teams we were absolutely supposed to beat. Losing the three we lost wasn’t completely unexpected, but the way we lost Clemson and UNC was unacceptable.

It makes equal sense.

You look back at an offense that doesn’t have a major offensive skill player or coach on it other than Zion on it as some kind of lesson to reflect back on when determining future performance.

Not to mention a total schematic change.

Louisiana Tech, FIU and GT losses have as much to do with this season’s players and coaches as the 2001 Canes do.
Nonsense.

You don’t see talent on this roster to beat La. Tech or FIU?

Our ability to keep Bryce Young in the pocket on passing downs will be key. We know Manny tries to create confusion at the LOS and he'll be aggressive with the blitz; if he can do that throughout the game and the back end holds, we have a good chance against Bama.

Bryce Young is accurate and can make the off-platform thrown with regularity, however it's the off-schedule playmaking that presents the biggest problem with the skill talent they have at Alabama; you can only expect to cover those guys for so long. Pass-rush and contain will decide the game, IMHO.

No way in **** Diaz out-schemes Bama. And Miami isn’t winning the LOS in this game. So no matter what Diaz does- this game is a blow out.

Bama doesn’t lose because the other staff is better- they lose when the other team is better. Miami doesn’t possess a better team and Diaz is more of an obstacle to winning this game than he is an asset.
