Totally agree. It was one of those years where no one stepped up and ran away with it. But they just sort of had to give it to someone.

Let’s hypothetically say Beck is able to drive UM down for winning TD against Louisville instead of throwing 4th pick in the last min of game. And Miami doesn’t get f#cked by refs against SMU and they call the very obvious PI that happened on his last throw, Miami runs it in from goal line to win. Does Beck win the Heisman or would Mendoza still get the nod?
