Official Heisman Ceremony Thread

[AUcane]

Does nobody understand foreground/background/positioning and how that relates to perspective?

[RozayCane]

Never knew they didn’t actually get a trophy

[Bird4um]

Totally agree. It was one of those years where no one stepped up and ran away with it. But they just sort of had to give it to someone.

Ward was 1 year too early!!

[SinCityCane]

That makes back to back Heisman trophy winners from South Florida and 3 in the last 10 years

Congratulations to Mendoza-His story on how he got there is simply remarkable-

He seems so genuine which is refreshing these days-He’s a Miami kid I’m very happy for him.

[Disgustipated]

I Can't imagine there ever being a worse group of finalists. this award means absolutely nothing anymore. Haven't watched since Willis didn't win it 25yrs ago.

Trumpycane wants to know how good you thought Kurtis Rouke was

Anybody touched this one yet?

They are standing right next to each, look at their feet.

They are standing right next to each, look at their feet.

They’re standing in a diagonal line and the photographer is framing the shot towards one side.

[bacane]

Love deserved it. But congrats to Mendoza.

Happy for Mendoza. If talking best player, it’s clearly Smith.

[Handsome Squidbum]

Let’s hypothetically say Beck is able to drive UM down for winning TD against Louisville instead of throwing 4th pick in the last min of game. And Miami doesn’t get f#cked by refs against SMU and they call the very obvious PI that happened on his last throw, Miami runs it in from goal line to win. Does Beck win the Heisman or would Mendoza still get the nod?

Best player in college football… feels like it was given to the QB of the best team in college football this year.

Just like the good old days.

[Unsider]

Love deserved it. But congrats to Mendoza.

I wonder what they’ll do now to protest Love not winning it…

[Hoyacane1620]

Indiana brought him in specifically to work with Mendoza this year. Gave him the title Co OC for $$
