Butch would have fixed this. Talk all the sh't you want about him as a gameday coach but he wouldn't have hired playaction penos, "technician" stumble, flake faker, etc. Our roster would have been better overall and well prepared. He surrounds himself with talent, simple as that. He wouldn't be learning on the job like Manuela here, he already knows the blueprint. But then again, the administration is the overall problem. They just don't care about the program.

His blueprint hasn't worked in years. Butch doesn't have it anymore.

Dude you know how it goes, 3 years from now when CMD is fired, Pete Carroll will be interested in the job but we will go with Butch Jones instead. Then be instructed to "Be patient". 3 years after that itll be rinse and repeat.

Obviously he was a bad, lazy hire. Obviously he'll get fired. The big question is how long will the boosters let this go on. More importantly, a new AD must be making the next hire. Blake James in an incompetent.

Temper your Hope's a little my man. You know the drill by now. Gruden, Meyer, Bear Bryant's ghost, etc. will all be publicly slobbering for the job, but our AD will have to do his due diligence and check out the Temple guy first.

Agreed but how many times have we all said that over the past 15 years? Manny talks such a great game and his actions in the offseason seemed to indicate that he may be the guy but the product on the field these last 2 weeks has been a total disaster.
