- The defensive tackle that flashed most to us throughout the practice was true freshman Leonard Taylor, who had the most success of the interior linemen during one-on-ones and found a way to get a PBU during 11-on-11s. Taylor is working with the third team during 11v11 situations, but it is obvious that he will factor into the playing rotation sooner rather than later. He might be the best pass rushing defensive tackle on the team already.

This has me the most excited.

That’s the area I mentioned him working on, he doesn’t play as fast as his 40 but if he learned to use his crazy size it would be huge for him. He’s a physical beast.

I’m just very happy happy with the amount of talent and depth all across the field. Practice will breed improvement with so many guys that can play. From a roster standpoint, what an improvement over the last two years.

Rambo and Pope are good route runners they get separation easily, they just have to hold the ball. Pope is gonna put it all together very soon.

I’m excited to see TRob out there roaming and teaching, I’m desperate to see the best versions of Hall, Ivey and Blades. We must stop the run so our DBs have to play on islands against our best opponents for us to have a chance this season.
