Offensive formations/plays you want to see this year

59th in points per game
127th in 3rd down
58% in the red zone (the playoff teams were all 70%+)

So, I guess the solution is to do the exact the same things over & over again while expecting different results.

Offense needs to improve and become more efficient
 
I want see motion pre-snap and Harley or Thomas on jet sweeps or fakes off the motion then hit something big down the seam.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

This. The defense was on the field for almost 1000 plays last season. Yes, they were middle of the road in third down conversion percentage defense but ****, the offense couldn't stay on the field for more than a minute or two at a time. People complain that total defense and scoring defense got worse last year yet average yards per play didn't. It's just that opponents got so many possessions against us.

I don't care if they have to switch to the wishbone. I just want to see the offense consistently move the ball and not have to rely solely on the big play to get any scoring.

Do your part and get off the field. It goes both ways, yeah the offense didn’t always extend drives but I know the defense sure as **** gave up too many 3rd downs too.

Everyone tries to say the defense carried the team, yeah in some games but let’s not also forget that the offense went out and simply won games too or was in them because what they did as well

I'd like to see more Rosier overthrowing open receivers and /or scrambling around after the oline gets ***** slapped on the rush, then over/under throwing the ball to open receivers begging for the ball.
Yes I'm being facetious, so attack me if you want, I don't give 2 *****. We have weapons aplenty that all schools would die for. Doesn't matter if your QB is incapable of delivering the rock when the opportunity knocks. Don't even get me started on the OL deficits. If we can somehow manage to find plays and formations that allow us to take advantage of our incredible RB/FB backfield, points on the board will become a staple.
All of which anyone here with solid football knowledge can attest. My pessimistic fingers are crossed
 
Play 7 ol , including one at qb. Which could help the run game and completion percentage. Then throw more fades to 5’9 wr’s in the red zone.

I never understood why we didn’t use more eye candy like this. All the bubbles with nothing off that action.

That’s my knock on Richt , there’s no smoke n mirrors , just watch Clemson. It’s stealing , so much movement , motions and misdirections. That’s why all the qbs in this type of offenses have crazy stats and comp percentages. Less reads and easier throws.

Thing is he used to do that a lot early in his career, haven’t seen much of it at Miami since he’s been here

I'd like to see a qb consistently hit targets on short to intermediate routes, ACCURATELY.

Once we get the basics down, we can add all the BS window dressing you want.

Which makes it all the more infuriating especially in light of how much this offense has struggled under two different quarterbacks during Richt's tenure.

They have had pretty good seasons statistically but we certainly need to improve on 3rd downs and red zone scoring. I think A reason richt hasn’t been doing that as much because he didn’t trust malik and I’m not sure why not with kaaya
