Dude. These guys don't watch college football. We could sit here and pick apart everyone in the top 10 and they still won't get it.

Im confident that we can rush the passer, stop the run, stay disciplined (ie penalties), and compete wirh anyone if we are healthy.

Name a team that can win with their top three CBs out with injuries, 2nd RB it with injury, and four new starters on the o-line? Answer: not many.

The concerns are:

1. LG and RG
2. Health
3. LBs (Chase and Toure to be exact).
4. Kicking

But you’re making it seem like the sky is falling when none of the three games were in doubt, when they were not.

We will get healthy
11 and 17 will play more

The only question is the middle of the o-line. Every team has concerns right now and things to fix/improve. We aren’t any different. But to act like a ***** after three wins is a but much, man.
 
We just showed our future opponents just how to beat us. Ho Li Crap!

Yes, they held every play. They intended to injure us. But they just weren't good enough to take advantage of us consistently.

Some good teams with a bit of depth - follow that blueprint - we gonna have to tighten up!

Of course, last year was an anomaly. Wilson played his best game of the season tonight. I'm alot lower on Blount than the rest of the board. O had 74 yards D was on the field all 2nd half & held it together without key players. That's a silver lining for me. Gotta see whats up with out big 3.

You guys confident in anything this team does through 3 games? I’m not and don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel without Lucas and OJ. Guard play is tied for the worst it’s been under Mario and Mirabel (in year 1). Good luck solving that problem with SJ…. (No one else got snaps tonight at guard 🤣)

Shout out to Damon Wilson, I’ve *****ed about him for 2 weeks but he played great tonight and put great tape out there. Need him to continue that play because this Heatherman defense desperately needs an edge rusher

Funny how three playoff teams weren't able to follow a blueprint last year.

Thank you for response. I agree. Not so much on pass rush but they did show life tonight that has me a lot more confident Moving forward.

This isn’t a sky is falling thread as like you said everyone in the country has things to work on and are not a finished product. I am concerned though.

This is a thread for the idiots who all offseason laughed at the folks who circled this game at wake on a Friday night saying this or Stanford would be a test. It’s a theme I’ve seen on here for 15 years

No one with half a brain thought Wake on the road/Friday night would be a cakewalk and really didn't understand the 20+ point spread. They won 9 games last year and their HC was 11-4 coming into tonight.

That said, it was 31-7 in the 3rd quarter and an awful roughing the pass penalty away from the game being completely blown open. We were already down our best two corners and lost our top two RB's and Mali got dinged up too. Mensah didn't look right in the second half either.

The inside of our OL is a major concern but find me a top 10 team that doesn't have issues.

You should have watched the game.

They had a QB. A RECEIVER. And a quick, fast-paced offense.

We could barely tackle! But we DID put pressure on the QB there towards the end.

I don't give a **** how many playoff teams we beat last year.

That was LAST YEAR.

This is such an awful take, to compare anything D or anyone else said by warchant is such insane hyperbole it’s honestly crazy lmao. The main things we heard out of camp were:

1. The offense looks great, which it did until over the course of 5 drives it’s top two running backs, best player and QB all got banged up (and if mensah throws a slightly better ball Lofton probably scores from like 80 yard out on one of the drives)

2. The DBs look great, which we never got to see because we managed to lose 3 of our top 5 corners before week 1 ended

3. The pass rush looked good, which has drawn a preposterous amount of holding penalties and essentially won us the game in the second half tonight

I get the second half was rough but we don’t have to do stuff like this where we pretend it’s 2019 and D money is making hype podcasts for us to lose to FIU
