Against WF, kind of. I don’t get how you look the other way at the bad. Happens on this board every year. Never see the writing on the wall, then shocked when the wheels come off like it came out of the blue. We got outplayed the entire second half by an average team. If we can acknowledge the good, then at least acknowledge the bad equally.

You guys confident in anything this team does through 3 games? I’m not and don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel without Lucas and OJ. Guard play is tied for the worst it’s been under Mario and Mirabel (in year 1). Good luck solving that problem with SJ…. (No one else got snaps tonight at guard 🤣)

Shout out to Damon Wilson, I’ve *****ed about him for 2 weeks but he played great tonight and put great tape out there. Need him to continue that play because this Heatherman defense desperately needs an edge rusher

Honestly come on. I didn’t expect a 50 point blowout, but this team had to go to overtime against the worst team in the Big Ten this year.

Weak Forest was picked generally in the bottom third of the acc and while I think that might’ve been too low because their head coach is very good and if Florida State was smart, they might hire him, perhaps the preseason predictions about we are wrong and they are better again just like last year. But again, Purdue absolutely sucks and they needed overtime to win so let’s not act like there’s some ACC juggernaut until there’s a lot more evidence supporting that.

There is a difference between acknowledging the bad, which is obvious, and making dramatic claims about the downfall of the program after one bad half of offensive football.

OH! I agree!

We seem to have violated the First Rule of Boulschi**ing - "NEVER START BELIEVING YOUR OWN BOULSCHI**."

I recall shortly after the game started - thinking "we're about a half-step slower than the previous two games." We made out pretty good that First Half - but then the wheels began wobbling in the Second Half - and got pretty bad.

And I STILL say that the Wake Forest players were playing dirty, dirty, dirty - AND - seeming to try to injure our players while tackling.

We may be good, we may have a good roster, but we're NOT the irresistible force bestowed on us after our first two games.

We gotta tighten up here and there - and get to work - including our coaching staff.

What it needs is a Stevie Wonder Room - for those who are visually impaired.

Then you would have a place to go where others can tell you what's right there on the screen.

Also, maybe a John Titor Time Travel Room where it can be explained that last year's team - is not the same as this year's team - due to the passage of Time.

This board can talk about the obvious good things until we are blue in the face. If you bring up the obvious bad, you are sinning against God and country.

It’s not a victory lap it’s me calling out the bull**** I see every single offseason. The slurpers and kool aid brigade refuse to be rational. Even when we sucked they still couldn’t help themselves. “Wake has no chance bro what are you stupid” has been the pre season narrative for a large portion of the board for a very long time even when rational fans provide reasons/facts to the contrary

To be fair they literally had no chance - it was so lob sighted a terrible second half still resulted in a two TD victory…

The team literally packed it up and still won
