Nuggets: Coaches testing Homer at CB and more

Njoku would be making a huge mistake leaving early. He's a late round guy right now, but with another year, he could work his way into the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think moving Homer to CB is a mistake too. He's the most physically gifted RB on the roster, and is more physically gifted than the RB's we are recruiting too. If his instincts match his physical abilities and toughness, he could be special.

Can Homer be our Jabrill Peppers? If he's that athletic i'd love to see him play multiple positions, gotta keep your best players on the field

Idk if Homer ever played defense in high school so there could be a bigger learning curve than Corn Elder had but I'd expect him to be that type of player only in a bigger body. He'd be pretty appealing as a corner going in the draft at 6'1 200 pounds. Very similar to what teams saw in Artie

Homer to CB makes sense to me if he can play because RBs are going to get crowded

Walton Jr
Yearby Sr
Edwards Sr
Burns Fr
McFarland Fr

Coach brown said we are landing two good backs yesterday plus 2018 has Lingard and Cook

Homer has everything you would want in a DB. Size, supreme athlete, speed, loves to hit, and has that nasty streak in him that only certain DBs have. Don't blame Rumph for trying to sneak him away from time to time.

The way he runs down the field on STs makes me think he's a defensive player. I'd love to see him at CB next year - we're so thin there.

I dont wanna see Jenkins switch to o line, i think that core d line is one of our few strengths we have on this team and they should continue to let the develop

WR and DB recruiting continue to look utterly atrocious despite plenty of early playing time to sell to premier talent.

Unacceptable.

LMAO Pete said Tennessee is recruiting Njoku and everybody starts panicking.

Do you want coveted players or not?

Richt should set aside another million, hand it to our official bag man and land us a top 5 recruiting class.

Not saying he's not an athlete or a prospect, but is "coveted" really the word for a guy who has offers by Missouri, Louisville, Tenn. and those ******* schools up north?

That's not the issue... Tennessee has been recruiting Evidence for months, that's nothing new.

The problem is, now that David may be going to draft that it could apparently affect whether we can keep him or not...

Nobody's panicking, but it's a problem if Dugans can't keep a kid who should be an absolute lock to us committed & you should know that if Pete is mentioning in the way that he is, then it's a possibility.

The issue is the fact that we shouldn't even have to put up a fight for a 3-star like Evidence when we have literally every single advantage working in our favor.

The fact that Larry Scott can pluck guys from regardless of who they are is completely unacceptable, he can't do that sh*t to any other staff but ours.

This staff hasn't been aggressive enough & teams are absolutely trying to take advantage of it, they smell blood in the water & we can't just act like it's no big deal or we're just going to have a whole bunch of "silent" 4-stars show up & sign at the last minute.

This is Miami, we've seen this movie before... They better step up and start locking this class down.

I guess you missed where he said it would only be a temporary move... staff loves Homer at rb

I'm not sure what Miami is supposed to do here. We can't stop other schools from recruiting kids.

We'll see how it plays out, but I haven't seen any reason to be concerned about him flipping.

and Miami cant control what a kid does, at the end of the day, they'll sign where they want, it's their life

Ryan Fines is the guy who should move to OL.

Fines probably won't even be on the roster next year. They at least see Jenkins has some talent and hope to get some production out of him at OL. He is 5th on the DT depth chart
