Nuggets: Coaches testing Homer at CB and more

LMAO Pete said Tennessee is recruiting Njoku and everybody starts panicking.

Do you want coveted players or not?
That's not the issue... Tennessee has been recruiting Evidence for months, that's nothing new.

The problem is, now that David may be going to draft that it could apparently affect whether we can keep him or not...

Nobody's panicking, but it's a problem if Dugans can't keep a kid who should be an absolute lock to us committed & you should know that if Pete is mentioning in the way that he is, then it's a possibility.

The issue is the fact that we shouldn't even have to put up a fight for a 3-star like Evidence when we have literally evynsingle advantage working in our favor.

The fact that Larry Scott can pluck guys from regardless of who they are is completely unacceptable, he can't do that sh*t to any other staff but ours.

This staff hasn't been aggressive enough & teams are absolutely trying to take advantage of it, they smell blood in the water & we can't just act like it's no big deal or we're just going to have a whole bunch of "silent" 4-stars show up & sign at the last minute.

This is Miami, we've seen this movie before... They better step up and start locking this class down.

This

Red flags all over the place and people dont see it because its a brand new hire. I like MR but i could turn quick......and these issues along with hiding prospects because they scared of other schools is a huge concern.
Its like if u smash a bytch quick das a red flag u cant wife that. Pay attention to the red flags

Njoku would be making a huge mistake leaving early. He's a late round guy right now, but with another year, he could work his way into the 2nd or 3rd round.

I think moving Homer to CB is a mistake too. He's the most physically gifted RB on the roster, and is more physically gifted than the RB's we are recruiting too. If his instincts match his physical abilities and toughness, he could be special.

I guess you missed where he said it would only be a temporary move... staff loves Homer at rb

Brooklyn, in my line of work, temporary means forever.... LOL...

You must work in corrections! Nah but seriously this kid is the truth at running back. It's gonna be real tough with carries soon but they'll give him a shot there first

Ryan Fines is the guy who should move to OL.

Fines probably won't even be on the roster next year. They at least see Jenkins has some talent and hope to get some production out of him at OL. He is 5th on the DT depth chart

This is happening to courted as punishment. He's only getting a shot cause of talent. Kid is an ******* with a horrible attitude.

Courtel has ability and nasty streak that would make him a good interior O-lineman. He's at the back end of the D-line rotation but could be a starter on offense.

We need to keep our depth at DL.

If Homer can become our version of Peppers then I am all for it.

Why the **** would anyone play for Al Golde....Butch Jones? Listening to talk radio in TN is like listening to talk radio in South Florida the last 3 years.

Courtel is actually a good DT, so moving him to OL would be retarded. Maybe they're just fcking with him like Henry Steel's coach did in the legendary movie "One On One."

Ive been begging for coaches to start giving Homer reps at DB. Safety or corner, it doesnt matter, hes going to be a **** of a player on that side. Love him at RB too, but DB is more critical next year.

Ive always been a big Jenkins fan. Even more so this year. As much as I like him and our depth at Dt, I think he could be a helluva guard. Staff is acknowledging we need guys that can move people. No finess ****. Id feel more comfortable with the move if we had a guy like Kool to coach the o line, but im in favor of the move. Need a huge talent upgrade at o line.

Don't like the Courtel move if its permanent.
He's proven to be a pretty solid 1tech DT. He's hard to block 1 on 1 that frees up the LB's to make plays.

Jenkins is a guy who makes plays when he is in at DT, I would hate to see him move to OL

I mostly give the staff the benefit of the doubt, but if I had a vote, I'd want to keep Homer at RB. Our current RBs have been serviceable, but not great. Our next potentially great back is Homer, let him stay there until he proves he's no better than the others. I know we need corners, but I don't see it as a plus...it's (potentially) like moving AR to corner. If he's not one of the 2 best RBs, move him. If he is, put Yearby at corner or something.

I remember Damond Neely making the switch from DL to Oline waaaay back in the Butch era and actually becoming pretty serviceable...

The staff better be careful at DT. Norton and McIntosh are talented enough to have great a 2017 and both go to the draft. At least one of them is gone after next year.
