Schiano is 1a after Richt. This has been confirmed by my source who is apart of the search committee.


Our new coach will be Greg Schiano. FWIW, he wants to keep D'ohnfrio on the staff in some capacity.
 
Clearly they want Richt and I believe they have probably even offered him the job. I really see Richt taking a year off with family first and not coaching this year anywhere. Maybe even staying with Georgia for the year in an administrative position. For number 2...I hope to God it's Butch by a mile. He's the only one I see that is hungry to bring this program back to respectability. He's begging for the opportunity. He is who most of the fan base seems to support so there's no risk for Blake to make the hire. If butch doesn't work out, Blake can just say well the fans got what they wanted. I'm really not excited about Mullen, Schiano, or any of the others.

Does Blake realize the anger will be greater than it was when Golden wasn't fired last year? And at every game until Golden was fired, if Schiano is hired? Or is he clueless (too easy, leave that alone)? Or does he not care?
 
I haven't been buying this whole Richt is not motivated bull**** but if he seriously does take the job at Virginia, then I'll have to accept being wrong...He doesn't give a **** about winning if that's the case. As for Mullen, like many others,I personally think he's very average and I understand he's in a hard *** division but still...there's really nothing to indicate that he could be a big time successful coach. If it ain't Richt, you gotta go with Butch.

Butch or Mullen. If it is Schiano we need to turn our attention to firing James with the hope that a competent AD will be running the next search in 5 years.
