I would take that tradeoff, lol. In other news, I do feel you guys are playing the best SEC team right away. That being said, I do feel like you are better than any SEC team.

They deserve to keep their spots. They play a "weak" schedule not because they wake up one morning and decide "ho hum...let's make our schedule weak."

They're not in 1 of the 2 Super-Greedy conferences that want all of the power.

It's weird IMO to see teems like theirs go 12-1, but still see fans crying how it's not fair that they get to participate. Like,...WTF?

You're barking up the wrong tree. The system is broken. It's not them, us, or Notre Dame that are the problem.

they have no choice but to circle it we are the ONLY tough game on next years schedule for them...go check it out lol

Cost benefit should be considered. Ya’ll can probably afford to not get a bowl game payout but you lose all that extra practice time and PT for the your youngin’s. Seems you might be cutting off your nose to spite your face.

I actually hope that today brings us closer to you and us joining the Big 10. The independent route seems like a relic of the past as was shown today. Feels like you need a conference. And we need to get out of this ****** ACC conference.

The chance for Miami to play Notre Dame on a regular basis gets my blood flowing and would be great for college football.

The softest fan base in the country. They refused to join a conference, play no good teams and the good teams they lose to. Then they expect to make the playoffs and start throwing a temper tantrum when they don’t. Notre Dame is so soft.

The way it should be! I’m hoping both teams are undefeated and there’s a bad blood war on that field.

Miami-ND hating each other is healthy for the sport. Enough with this sec bs crowding the sport.

Regardless of the history between us and ND, I don’t blame you guys a bit regarding Bama. While I felt Miami should be in because of the head to head, I also believe that ND should be in not bama, the fifth ranked sec team who somehow went and jumped ND after barely beating a 5 win auburn and then they move up after getting destroyed by UGA when literally every other conference loser dropped. That whole jump over ND after Auburn was entirely to insulate bama in a loss. And it’s usually us getting shafted by people like this so I feel your pain.

It’s an example of the SEC bully monopoly and to a lesser degree the B1G.

The B1G will do us dirty like the SEC and ACC. Big 12 for me please.

Obviously, we will have a ton of work to do in the portal, but let's at least hold up our end of the bargain. The viewership and hype would be insane.
