Why the heck is G5 guaranteed spots?? They play a weak schedule and take up 1 to 2 spots...
Just line up the top 12 teams and re seed them for playoffs. The end.

I also understand this perspective but how do you influence change while taking it in the *** from the committee and their overlords at ESPN and the SEC?

We're scheduled to play ND at their place next Fall.

Anyone think they won't have that date circled in red on their calendars up in South Bend?

ND should be forced to formally join a conference. Maybe being left out today might push them towards that.

I understand what you are trying to say and do and fighting the corruption of the NCAA is a fight we can all get behind but not sure this is the right place for you to post. You’re not going to get any sympathy from the Miami fans.

Do we know ND doesn't have that option to pick which ACC affiliated bowl it could go to? No offense, but I am sure the Sun Bowl or Holiday Bowl would love to have ND play in them if ND wants to avoid being on ESPN.

We asked and were not granted that option by almighty ESPN.

Understand. You seem like a reasonable individual. Hope you keep posting here. We realize that we are walking into a buzz saw next season but that’s a 2026 problem. We will deal with that in a few months.

I think it is crap. No team or conference should have an unfair advantage. I think EVERYONE that finishes in the top 12 in a 14 team playoff should get in.
 
You imagine these poosies are mad at us and we beat them on the field. Like literally beat them. They mad at the wrong team. Be mad at the G5 automatic bids, be mad at Bama but dont be mad at the team who beat you on the field. Its insane, could never make that argument. When the committee literally said H2H was a criterion. Bich made mofos
