That's BS in the age of sports gambling and rampant corruption/malfeasance.Any team with 2 losses can’t blame anyone but their self if they don’t get in.

There there’s this:This 100% has only to do with corruption within ESPN and the SEC. ND wasn't going to play that game. I am proud of them for having big enough balls to do it. The people saying they are pu***** are wrong. The pu*** thing to do would be to bend over and take it. Allowing the network that colluded against you to profit from you in the bowl. Absolutely not! Keep your money!! Once again, Coach Free and the ND leadership having big ones and doing what is right. ESPN is just crying because ND is pushing back on their corruption. If ND could have gone to the Sun Bowl on CBS or Holiday bowl on FOX, they would have accepted. That is 100% what the decision was. A ***** you to corrupt ESPN.
I also understand this perspective but how do you influence change while taking it in the *** from the committee and their overlords at ESPN and the SEC?I actually like Marcus Freeman, but this is a terrible lesson to teach these kids.
I get why they’re ****ed — and honestly, they have every right to be. They didn’t deserve to get in over us, but they probably did deserve a bid over Oklahoma or Alabama.
But you don’t take your ball and go home. You finish the season.
Freeman is the adult in the room. He needed to be the teacher here and lead by example. The life lesson is more important than the bowl game.
What part are you considering corrupt? That bama got in?This 100% has only to do with corruption within ESPN and the SEC. ND wasn't going to play that game. Idk….lil leprechauns & the gaytor are RUNNING A CLOSE RACE for that title!softest program in the history of college football
Like this.........I agree. Miami/ND are not enemies in this--I feel for ND because I was mentally prepared to be on the receiving end of this shafting by $ECPN.
Should ND join the ACC? Maybe. But as it stands, how can Miami fans sit here are laugh at ND?when it is only by the whim of the committee we are in and you are out.
I understand what you are trying to say and do and fighting the corruption of the NCAA is a fight we can all get behind but not sure this is the right place for you to post. You’re not going to get any sympathy from the Miami fans. This 100% has only to do with corruption within ESPN and the SEC. ND wasn't going to play that game. Yes. That the SEC colluded with ESPN and their talking points to get in 5 SEC teams. What part are you considering corrupt? That bama got in?
Do we know ND doesn't have that option to pick which ACC affiliated bowl it could go to? No offense, but I am sure the Sun Bowl or Holiday Bowl would love to have ND play in them if ND wants to avoid being on ESPN.This 100% has only to do with corruption within ESPN and the SEC. Fair point. Just wanted you guys to know the reasons behind the scene because the SEC and ESPN has messed with you too.I understand what you are trying to say and do and fighting the corruption of the NCAA is a fight we can all get behind but not sure this is the right place for you to post. We asked and were not granted that option by almighty ESPN.Do we know ND doesn't have that option to pick which ACC affiliated bowl it could go to? No offense, but I am sure the Sun Bowl or Holiday Bowl would love to have ND play in them if ND wants to avoid being on ESPN.
Understand. You seem like a reasonable individual. Hope you keep posting here. We realize that we are walking into a buzz saw next season but that’s a 2026 problem. We will deal with that in a few months.Fair point. Just wanted you guys to know the reasons behind the scene because the SEC and ESPN has messed with you too.
I think it is crap. No team or conference should have an unfair advantage. I think EVERYONE that finishes in the top 12 in a 14 team playoff should get in.NDfan, what’s your take on this MOU supposedly agreed to that’s guarantees a playoff spot if your team is 12th or higher next year?

That games is gonna be nuts. We're gonna be walking into ****.We're scheduled to play ND at their place next Fall.
Anyone think they won't have that date circled in red on their calendars up in South Bend?
ND should be forced to formally join a conference. Maybe being left out today might push them towards that.
