True but they are dillusional playing a soft schedule getting FSU in shambles after francois injury and another pretender in Va Tech.. ND has played schedule and looked dominant except the GA gm who I think ND would beat if they played next week as Wimbush passing has improved since than. But that’s why they play the gm..

You'd think the fact that you've played all of one team with a pulse thus far this year would elicit some caution or skepticism, but I'm happy to have to confirmed the general national consensus that Miami fans are as stupid as they come. It will be funny to think back on this thread at about 9:30pm on Saturday when the stadium is half empty and ND is playing their backups.

You just gave up 587 yards and 37 points to the 12th best team in the ACC. Physicality? Your front 7 got punched in the mouth repeatedly by one of the worst teams in FBS, missing their best player and without a single blue chip athlete on the team, and you want to talk about physicality and how uninformative the rest of us are?

To be fair, you guys did give up 428 to north Carolina, which is actually one of the worst teams in the FBS. CBS ranks wake forest at around 35-40 and north carolina is around 100. We gave up 265 and had to play with a back up QB against NC. So there is that. They are probably the 4th worst team in the ACC.

BUT BUT BUT before you hang me, Wake forest did take it to our Defense. Not denying it. they shouldn't have been able to. Not sure if that is an anomaly or truth. We have given up a lot of yards a couple other games, but not like this. I am hoping our defense was just sleeping that day or else Miami will take it to us. There was some chatter that Elko was trying to hard to mix things up since Wake Forest had all his plays (he coached there up to last year). Don't really like that excuse, so until proven different on saturday, im gonna say it was just a let down game for our defense, which has been solid, but not great so far this year.

Either way, these guys are trolls looking to get everyone ****ed off so they can laugh about it.

Good call moron, let's ignore the 7 wins other where ND dominated from start to finish and then cite the garbage time stats from a game that was 41-16 in the 4th quarter in a 39 degree downpour. You sir, are a special kind of stupid.

Dude honestly, you need to calm down. Im as big of an ND fan as there is, but our D was chasing wake forest all game. It was 41-23 to start the 4th. And the points in garbage time, were still against alot of our no. 1 Defense. Those short slant routs were killing us all game. Now, what made me think it was just a let down, was it seemed like when our D wanted to, they would force a 3 and have hits on the QB, but they just didn't have their energy that day. I was there, they were slow to the ball. I am more likely to think it was just a bad game, but it can't be ignored. Yes the other 7 wins were great, and hopefully they were just sleeping and coming off a couple emotional weeks, maybe elko was over coaching against his former team, but maybe WF found a hole in our defense and exposed it. We gave up 400 yds to boston college too, 500 to michigan state, USC had 492. This is not a dominate defense, they are disciplined and opportunistic, bend but dont break, whatever you want to call it. despite all those yards, they only give up 18.4 pts per game. i think they are going to have to hold Miami under 24 to have a chance to win.

And it was hardly a downpour. Misting rain and 45 degrees. Not saying it didn't effect them, but it was NC state last year. It was a bad game by them (hopefully).
