Notre Dame AD: ACC did “permanent damage”

This guy's a clown, just like that school. Look at their schedule for 2026. They play us, USC, SMU and a bunch of NOBODIES. It's pathetic and they expect to get cakewalked into the playoffs

ACC put those idiots into the ACC championship game during Covid when they absolutely did not have to.

They should be on their knees thanking the ACC not complaining that they are in support of their own members.

The audacity and nerve of ND staff and leadership. Horrible.
 
Anyone with a brain would see it as malfeasance for the ACC not to advocate for a full-in member, and unfortunately the comparison was always going to be Miami-ND head-to-head. So grow up & act like a professional.
 
Acc is their last lifeline so they need to stfu or join a conference.. no one is going to schedule them anymore besides big10 cellar dwellers, service academies and MAC schools
 
It's all showmanship anyway. They're just using it as an excuse. Just like we, clemson, or FSU would.

They're going to tie this up in court and find a way to do it with the big ten instead. They know the ACC is dead.

We should be using our cfp birth to find a new home as well

And let's not forget that the ACC missed the PERFECT opportunity to do this to ND back in 2020, the covid year.
They should have told them back then to join the conference in football, or else you can sit on your couch and watch the actual ACC conference members play football games that season.

I was thinking about this yesterday. ACC totally dropped the ball being the "nice guys" and not forcing their hand that year. "Oh you need help? Well then you can join our conference full-time." Now they're whining like a bunch of bratty babies and attacking the very conference that gave them a lifeline. If I'm Phillips and other presidents, I'm holding a meeting and a vote to give them an ultimatum.

I mean seriously. At least FSU had a legit argument of being undefeated. ND has no leg to stand on. "We LOOK better when playing 3 win teams even though we couldn't beat the best teams we played." Hopefully they will have a similar meltdown the next two years.
