It's all showmanship anyway. They're just using it as an excuse. Just like we, clemson, or FSU would.

Time to tell Notre Dame that they are either all in the ACC, including football, or the ACC will kick them out. They can join the Big Least for all other sports and remain independent in football with their NBC TV contract.

And let's not forget that the ACC missed the PERFECT opportunity to do this to ND back in 2020, the covid year.
They should have told them back then to join the conference in football, or else you can sit on your couch and watch the actual ACC conference members play football games that season.

I was thinking about this yesterday. ACC totally dropped the ball being the "nice guys" and not forcing their hand that year. "Oh you need help? Well then you can join our conference full-time." Now they're whining like a bunch of bratty babies and attacking the very conference that gave them a lifeline. If I'm Phillips and other presidents, I'm holding a meeting and a vote to give them an ultimatum.

What exactly did the conference do that hurt his feelings? The ACC Network replayed the game repeatedly, but that's not the conference. They even went out of their way to schedule a patsy for UVA to claim one of those bottom two spots as a conference champ.

Be mad at the CFP for putting a 3 loss Bama in.

ND is not in the ACC for football... so we owe them nothing.
Go join a conference without complaining

I mean seriously. At least FSU had a legit argument of being undefeated. ND has no leg to stand on. "We LOOK better when playing 3 win teams even though we couldn't beat the best teams we played." Hopefully they will have a similar meltdown the next two years.

But Notre Dame got ****ED by the SEC and Alabama, not the ACC and Miami.
