Notre Dame AD: ACC did “permanent damage”

Hahahaha. Wild!

Miami is a full fledge ACC member. ND is not. The ACC is supposed to go to bat for Miami especially in football.

The nerve of these entitled pricks.

Good luck, ND! Go get an agreement for your non football sports elsewhere like the Big 12 or the Ohio Conference.

Exactly. With conferences going to 9 conference games, good **** luck finding a partner to schedule with outside of the ACC. The ACC probably welcomes this for Football, considering the 9 game conference scheduling and all the canceling of games teams are having to do in the conferences.

Now the other side of the coin, the push after THIS year to go down the watering down of Out Of Conference game scheduling? Yeah, that is going to make their efforts even more difficult.

If I'm the ACC, and this is right, they are trying to exit JUST football, well kick their asses out of everything then, because that is the only meaningful thing here anyways.

I mean, not really. We dominated Pitt and Stanford more than you did. Watch the games. We played our subs the last 1.5 quarters, when you still had your ones in trying to pad the score. But it worked for you. We should have done the same. Not hating. It was probably smart of you.
Against Pitt you played backups??? So for 1.5 quarters your backup QB never threw a pass? For 1.5 quarters only the 2nd string RB got to carry the ball? Was ND just taking a knee for all of the 4th quarter? How are only 5 Olinemen getting all 72 snaps if the backups are in?

😂😂😂😂 what a bunch of *******

ND is tiresome, when its good for ND great ( all other sports ACC members ) when it comes to football its all their Cash....... irreparably damage leave the entire conference ASAP. you bring little or no value to non rev sports & ND Bball is nothing to write home about ....... good riddance

TrumpyCane wants to know what games? You're not in the playoffs

So you refuse to join a conference full-time and then are mad when said conference goes to bat for a school that actually is a full-time member?

The level of entitlement and pettiness they have shown in the last 24 hours is astounding.

If I'm the ACC, I call their bluff. Join or get out. With all these expanded conference schedules, good luck scheduling anyone of value.

amen we just saved the incompetent Phillips, stand up jimmy and give them an ultimatum
100% in or your out

My last post on here. ESPN/SEC is too big to fight out in the open. That's why Pete didn't talk about them in the interview. There is stuff going on behind the scenes there, though. We all know ESPN/SEC collusion is the real problem with college football. We just have to be smart about bringing it down. Will you guys and the remaining ACC teams get caught in the fallout or will you help? We will see.

It's insane because everyone knew how that worked out for Florida State. They had EVERYONE in their corner until they started acting like absolute children and then EVERYBODY hated them. The next season they went 2-10. Notre Dame had an opportunity to use that sympathy to their advantage but their so f***ing entitled they pulled an FSU.

And they don't want to join a conference. So what leverage do they actually have? Why does anyone care? They are a single team, in a sea of 135 teams, that continues to choose to act alone, in spite of people telling them the pitfalls. And then when those bad things happen they act completely shocked. What are they gonna do, go form their own league? They have ZERO leverage because they've worked so hard to isolate themselves.
correct the "aura" of ND football is fading as the 2025 ratings demonstrated, with conferences going to 9 conference games , who will want to schedule them USC will most likely end home & home and opt for season opener at a neutral sight.....

Look, we've been patient and fair here. But now you are trying to spin an argument with a bunch of lies.

You said "We dominated Pitt and Stanford more than you did. Watch the games [plural]. We played our subs the last 1.5 quarters..." Bull****.

---Who threw the interception with 1:39 left in the THIRD quarter that allowed Pitt to score a TD? CJ Carr, YOUR STARTING QUARTERBACK!
---What got Notre Dame 2 extra points in the 3rd quarter? The failed 2-point conversion that Pitt attempted after that Pick-Six.
---Who scored the final ND touchdown against Pitt with less than 10 minutes in the 4th quarter? CJ Carr, YOUR STARTING QUARTERBACK!

At least for the Pitt game, this LIE that you "played our subs" for the last 22.5 minutes of the game is not true. Please don't make up some story, as I have no interest in debating Notre Dame injuries or substitution patterns. The reality is, with under 10 minutes in the game, Notre Dame still had the starting QB in and scored on Pitt. Even after ND's 4th quarter score, CJ Carr was STILL in for the FINAL drive of the game, when Notre Dame marched to the Pitt 25 with 2:49 left on the clock. Are we supposed to give Notre Dame a medal for NOT scoring there? The truth is that Notre Dame was still trying to pad the score at the end of a 37-15 game, but unfortunately ND only passed for 4 yards on 4th and 5.

Why can't you be honest? In Miami's game against Pitt, with under 6 minutes to go and down 31-7, Narduzzi was still calling long pass plays. We would have given him a polite "out" if he chose to run the ball, but he chose to try to bomb us. So we scored another TD. Big deal. As for the Stanford game, we DEFINITELY had all our backups in for the last scoring drive. Who cares?

You can try to question the legitimacy of our 4th quarter offense. ****, you ND dip****s have been doing that since 1985, and people are no longer interested when Notre Dame whines about Miami "running up the score".

We dominated Pitt more than Notre Dame did. We'll grant you the Stanford game. But please don't lie to us about Notre Dame playing backups for the last 1.5 quarters of both of those games, when it is so easy to disprove your lies.

In that way. Evidently. Marcus is too classy not to play the 2's and 3's in a blowout. He realizes everyone has done too much work to just keep the starters in.

You're a liar. "Classy" Marcus kept the starters in for all 4 quarters of the blowout against Pitt.

Stop lying.

From one Catholic, to another, I'll be praying for you, hermano.

Stay strong. Faith can move mountains… but even it might not fix that secondary.

Cyrus, you were the storyline in one of my all time favorite movies, a movie I snuck into in the Omni as a kid. You need to end that post like this:
