If that was the case, then they would have put in BYU or Vanderbildt, not Miami.

27 hours ago ND fans couldn’t even remember the Miami game. It might as well have been played in leather helmets, it was so long ago. The second they rightfully got left out, they remembered it and came to our board to complain and warn Miami fans that “it might not be safe to show up in south bend next year.”

What a perfect encapsulation of that clown college and everyone associated with it.
 
I’m just seeing this interview now and as I just said offline - what the ****! For one the ACC didn’t do **** to help us. And second, what kind of entitled school expects a conference to go to bat to get an out of conference team into the playoffs over one of their own members particularly when their member and that team have the same record and when their member beat the out of conference team!? “Our relationship with the ACC is permanently damaged” for lobbying for their own full-fledged members over us” wahhhh!!!! FOH

Newsflash: ND was never joining the ACC and if required to join a conference, would join the B1G anyway. This dude Bevacqua brings up Nick Saban saying ND belongs in the playoffs and yes he said that. He also said Miami deserves to be in over MD because head to head matters most in a tiebreaker.

Please cut ACC conference ties with ND for goodness sakes. And then, Miami GTFO of the ACC and join the B12.

They don't have to. Per usual, Notre Dame gets to have their cake and eat it too. They can have all of their sports except football play in the ACC, and then cry about how their "independent" football team is at a disadvantage and weasel their way into an automatic playoff bid (usually as a top seed) for finishing in the top 12.
 
If Phillips had any guts or brains, he would give ND an ultimatum and if he doesn't accept full football membership, you kick all of their sports out.
 
The conversation that Rad should be having with Phillips should be: You either get ND in as a full member or kick them out OR we are leaving for greener pastures.

Mario has a rep of emptying his bench as well and did in several games. He played a LOT of freshman this year.
