Notre Dame a 3.5 point favorite (All Miami-ND, Mali News)

Why?

We are averaging 49 ppg on the season. Do you think it will be a slow paced game? Defensive battle? Cold weather? Away game? I think it’ll go over. Just genuinely curious why you think it’ll be under?

Don't typically have shootouts in this kind of game. Probably a game in the 20s (for both teams).

Pitt’s defensive scheme was borderline negligent. Mali is not getting free run off the line. ND is very athletic and will make Mensah earn his money. I think our approach will be risk averse. But what do I know?
I think Dawson is finally trusting Mensah. I think he’s found his karate kid. He’s the perfect mix of Beck and Wards best QB attributes but on steroids!

Everyone talking about a must win situation for the Canes, but I think that sentiment cuts both ways and maybe more so towards the Irish.

ND, get ready, pressure is rising! A storm is coming!

You don’t want a repeat of this again…

I think both OCs will be conservative. Mensah is going to see pressure unlike anything he’s seen this year. ND obviously has a good secondary. Very run-heavy game imo.
Hey rapist catholic priest, tell your conrad what they do to them when they get to prison?

ND is missing two starters in the secondary and are down to true freshman as backups. One dude gets hurt, and they're in some real trouble back there. Their starting Nickel, Gray, is in a death struggle most games against solid players, and faces Mali. I think they'll have to play more zone.

Brewu vs SJ/Congdon on passing downs is scary. Their interior pressure scares me more than their guys on the edge.

I think we can attack them like BYU did. Although their LB got A targeting penalty that did change things immensely in Provo.

Intermediate routes and passes to the backs will be there. I expect a huge game from Lofton.

I hope you’re wrong and Dawson attacks them like he did Pitt (Spread Uptempo) Trust Mensah to pick apart that overrated ND secondary!
Even if we have to go to ground game Ijke our run game versus their D and vice versa.
We all hope he is wrong, but what leads you to believe he is and we won't come out conservative?
Cause they obviously trying to get Toney or Mensah the heisman and this is the game to do it
