The worst may have been Tathan MartellI think we’re all a little cautious on being hurt again lol. Let’s see we’ve had Wright, Kayaa , JW and kosi that we’ve crowned and thought we have the guy. **** we crowned guys like Olsen before they even played a down , some calling him “ baby Jesus”.
With all that said we haven’t had a guy like this in a couple decades , with the physical and mental skills this guys showing. Him moving defenders with his eyes is next level ****, so is throwing guys open. Especially for his age.
I think we have a good one.
I think that’s was more of a small cult like following. He had major red flags that held me back , mostly him being a midget surrounded by 4-5 stars in HS. Oh and a meh arm and accuracy. I can’t fault them , we’re a desperate bunch around here. The worst may have been Tathan Martell
I think you’re right because the dudes that went the hardest for him have left the blog/site. At least I don’t see them around anymore.I think that’s was more of a small cult like following. The concerns I had with him earlier was that he seemed hesitant or gun shy to throw the ball as he missed some open guys in the few opportunities he had vs Bama.I could end some posters careers by bumping threads but I don’t get down like that. We all get our time at the principal office if you post enough. The one thing TVD always had was prototype tangibles. Top shelf arm , size and tested as a pretty good athlete . Especially for that size.
The next guy?? U mean Diaz? Lol.
I kid, I kid.
If Mario wants the job nothing matters. If Mario says no and we go on a miracle run all the way to a accg /bowl when then its possible. That’s a whole lot if’s when you’re a bad coach with an awful defense.
I know for a fact multiple big bot‘s were done weeks ago, even saying they wouldn’t be coming back to a game until theres changes. My opinion is based on that and knowing what was happening with a loss versus NCSU.
Bingo. look they’re not top 10. Imo they’re ranked right where they should be. They’re top 25 teams not top 15 or 10. We beat both. Doesn’t change that the team is flawed roster and coach wise but acknowledge when they do things well and win gsmes you didn’t expectSame guys calling Pit and Ncsu trash were saying they’d drag miami like they were juggernauts. Which is it?
He played WR for UNLV this week....I think that’s was more of a small cult like following. He had major red flags that held me back , mostly him being a midget surrounded by 4-5 stars in HS. Oh and a meh arm and accuracy. I can’t fault them , we’re a desperate bunch around here.
Wut?!?!Happy feet was evident his first game and every time thereafter.
I believe he hit a bomb to Lance Leggett vs Ga Tech in his first bit of playing time but he also showed why Brock Berlin took the keys from him
I can only recall one - he missed a wide open Mallory for a TDGetting really tough not to crown him yet. There’s so many things he does as a second year freshman who has only started 5 games in his career that senior quarterbacks don’t do as well. Playing behind a bad offensive line with very little help from the run game, he still stays calm and drops dime after dime. I’ll have to re watch the game and count how many of his incomplete passes were actually miss targets. He threw a few away purposely and had a couple of drops. The interception was probably not the best move, he called it “stupid” himself, but that very well could have been a huge play of Harley doesn’t fall down. But man, I’m really struggling to think of a throw where he had a guy open and just missed. If I’m going to nitpick, there were a couple of plays where he abandoned the pocket a bit early and tried to scramble and ended up getting sacked when he could have slid up and had another second to throw. But that’s stuff that happens to even the best of quarterbacks. I think we’re witnessing something special here.
No..Jacory Harris took the keys from Brock Berlin..both of y’all wrongWut?!?!
Brock Berlin took the Keys from Kyke Wright? Berlin was the starting QB before Kyle Wright.
What are the BOT’s mindset after the past 2 weeks now? Have they changed their minds on Blake and Manny? I hope not… whether or not we win out, we need to see changes, especially on defense!!If Mario wants the job nothing matters. What I posted is week of NCSU, my opinion all of that didn’t change because a couple wins. What are the BOT’s mindset after the past 2 weeks now? Have they changed their minds on Blake and Manny? I hope not… whether or not we win out, we need to see changes, especially on defense!!
I think this is probably the best we can hope for at this point. As long as Blake is out of here and there isn’t somebody in the AD chair who is beholden to Manny Sr then I can accept this as the outcome. But didn't Manny make Blake look like a total ******* by beating 2 ranked teams? Can we hope for a scenario where Blake goes first, opening a spot for a quality AD who will make the best decision on Manny or his successor?
Exactly. He gets retained, then he repeats the same ish again next year, with another 4-4 start. Sometimes you just gotta take the bitter medicine and move on to the future. He’s proven his pattern. He lets everyone down. Enough is enough. What I posted is week of NCSU, my opinion all of that didn’t change because a couple wins.
TVD is henceforth known as TVB -- Tom Van Brady. Guy is the real ******* deal. Creates pressure for himself sometimes and I wish he'd climb the pocket more often, but dude is the real deal.
That 3rd down bomb to Smith in the opening drive is the nicest throw I've seen at Miami in 20 ******* years.
