Not crowning but ****

Facts now let's see if the next staff can put elite players around him. That's the key right now

yep. as I've said before, TVD has shown us how good he can be.

the rest is up to him. he just needs to keep working and keep focus.

fortunately, .... unlike some of the knuckleheads we've had the past several years, .... he's a bright kid, a serious kid, who doesn't give a **** about his instagram account, or how late he can party the night before games. he just wants to maximize his ability and help lead his team.

how refreshing.

I want to see him grow and develop with the young WR's like Keyshawn and X(who flat out needs to play more and have more targets) and Arroyo.

And next season when Don Chaney returns to give us some tough inside physical running, will make a dynamic duo at RB

Now, the Oline still concerns me. But some real pieces are there to work with...

The entire O-Line minus Williams returns, no? I guess Justise can slide in at RT and we get Rivers back.

Gaynor can stay as a backup.

you know, I didn't realize we were bringing that much back upfront. Also Campbell is slated to return..

Look beyond the numbers that first year. Miami had to ride Ty Moss as the O, because Kyle was inconsistent as ****. When you remember that Kyle got almost a third of his TD passes for the SEASON against Wake Forest, it puts those numbers in perspective. From there, he regressed. He was unable to grow within any offense and while the changes at OC didn't help, it is obvious why he didn't make it. He was a bust, and most likely would have been a bust anywhere he went.

Brock was awful as a junior, and that's mostly a reflection on Chud and his inability to grasp the obvious when it came to Brock: Brock was at his best in a spread, in a tempo based offense. Chud kept trying to force Brock to play under center and we saw how it worked out. I'll never understand why Chud refused to let Brock play from the shotgun on a regular basis. You think it's an accident that he played his best ball when Miami was behind and in the hurryup? Then again, this program was slow as **** in regards to moving beyond "Pro Style Bro".

chug was handicapped that year. Coker did not want to run the spread.

chug thought otherwise, but you have to do what the head man says.

@PIPO I could be misremembering but this is what I recall of how it went
True Fr didn’t start back then , very rare. Even if they were good enough. Everyone went crazy when Philip Rivers did it and was balling . **** even Manning sucked as a Fr, he was the third stringer until injuries happened. Brock was brought in to bridge the gap to Kyle’s third year , thats just how things were ran then. You don’t being in the former number one qb in the country via transfer unless he knows he’s starting.

True but Kyle was slated to start in Brock's second year after redshirting. Brock played really bad that first year for us and was not supposed to win starting spot in year 2 but Kyle had a mediocre spring, and when he got playing time and a chance to show what he could do it didn't look pretty so Brock kept the job.
