Not breaking news, but…

Parrots parrots parrots all over.

The offense didn't change after the BYE week.

Miamis offense was still throwing ball over the yard the problem is the QB started giving it to the other team.

That's why offense has seemingly gone more conservative. Clemson game on.

The next 2 games after the bye week
Miami offense averaged 468 YPG.
Passing offense averaged 330 YPG.

BUT we threw 5 costly INTs.

That is when you can't trust the wide open passing offense anymore.

The game plan against GT was probably to run it down their throats because they had the worst run defense in the country. But they changed their defensive coordinator and things changed. Which probably explains why it looked like an odd offensive performance. But with all that...

...TVD threw two INTs inside their 25 and threw an INT inside our own 25. He took 14 points off the board we could have had and then gave them 10 with the other. It was not a great offensive performance but if the dude doesn't throw those INTs it's a massively different game, and that ending doesn't happen.

You're talking about a game that could have easily been 34-7. They had one drive (outside the ending) over 50 yards.
Honestly it was scary how it felt like MTSU again with him absolutely crushing this team with putting them behind…

Only thing different (outside of the last play) was the defense contained the damage and STILL gave us a chance to win.

The TVD era for me can have all the excuses but something is up with that kid that he can’t face adversity and turn the page on a bad play (interception or fumble) it’s like if just keeps letting it snowball for him

So after the A&M Dawson went on record saying Mario let him be aggressive at the end of the game but now TrumpyCane is to believe Mario is meddling

Not that it can’t be true, and if true Mario is a dumbass

@Brooklyndee @SWFLHurricane van you guys tell Butch to tell Mario to get his head out of his ***
The thing that keeps running through my head is when Mario said something about he wasn’t sure if Dawson would be able to run the clock out on A&M and Dawson didn’t hesitate with his response and I’m sure looked cross eyed at him “run the clock out? If they come out in Man again we are throwing this motherf&cker deep.”

I get Tyler’s play has hamstring our ability, but the pace and aggressiveness are not things that an OC would completely remove unless there some direction to do so and tone it down. JMO, but it seems out of character for Dawson. Not to absolve him of some of the stuff, cuz he has to own some of the issues.

My source is very biased, of that there is no doubt.

I would spread it out and run tempo, flood the zones with route concepts (sail, etc), and run more draws and delays into those 3 man fronts on third downs.

I haven’t seen any of those things done.
I would love to see us do that but idk if Emory against FSU is the right game to try it

TVD is cooked and I have to imagine the staff knows it too by now. Zero confidence in him being able to execute a faster offense at this point

This is depressing.
It's the only thing I can come away with. Watching Dawson turn into Gattis leaves me with the devastating realization that Mario had a chance but will almost certainly fail at his dream job.

Which means I have a few more years at minimum of the University of Miami providing me no joy. Looks like we're in the middle of the longest run yet of my fandom.

Stop acting like the sky is falling. Y’all think it’s possible Dawson oversold his abilities?

Regardless how you feel about Mario, Dawson has failed this season. He’s the QB coach and our QB has regressed beyond levels we ever thought possible. Then you pair that with the QB recruiting? C’mon now.

Oh and last but not least, Dawson was supposed to be so so close with Geno Smith and couldn’t even convince Jeremiah to stay home. Honestly what advantage has Dawson brought? Lots of coaches could do what he’s doing.

Something needs to be done. F that Mario and his Columbus Crew BS...Rad & Zo need to sit his Gargantuan Head down and read him the riot act for the betterment of the program.
I think he was asking if Mullen would be willing to come jump into this dumpster fire.

Of course it doesn't make sense, because there's a really good chance it's not entirely true. Consider you're reading this on an internet message board thru a game of telephone via a guy who is perpetually negative in every regard. Just something to keep in mind.
ghandi is a pretty good source on stuff he gives to the board. he doesn't necessarily post BS. I know it goes against the Mario can do no wrong theory on CIS but

I see it. I see who hired him, I think he’s meddling… I just don’t think the sky is falling by losing Dawson either way. He has struggled mightily on the trail and that’s Mario’s baby.

He was co-coordinator at Oregon under Taggart.
LOL you gotta be a huge homer to think Mario actually called a single play there. he didnt do **** at Oregon other than have a title for pay reasons. the same as the poly guy here has a title beyond his level of contribution

This all leads to somebody from the Ferentz family running the offense within the next 4 years.

Fair assessment. I just hate that its going to create such a bad look. And quite frankly, who would want this OC job knowing what's about to be made public?
