North Dakota State RB Charmar Brown Visiting tomorrow

Been an NDSU season ticket holder for 20 years. Watched ChaMar, Marty, Brown play every game. One thing I will tell you is that you won't find a better guy that runs behind his pads and gets every yard out of his carries. Very good in pass protection. If you look at his game log, you will see a lot of 20 carry, 90 to 110 yards games. I would say my one knock on him as he doesn't break a lot of big runs, but part of that is how NDSU runs their offense. Traditional west coast offense, a lot of under center, running power, inside zone and outside zone.

On a personal note, the word from most boosters around NDSU was that Marty was planning on staying at NDSU. Had committed to the NIL NDSU has in place. Obviously the draw to play FBS and the NIL money at the P5 level is life changing. He saw an opportunity to change his life long term and his mother's life. I am extremely happy for the young man. I am a diehard NDSU fan and Miami Hurricane fan.

Guess you missed me say the other day he immediately comes in more accomplished than Fletcher and Lyle. Not necessarily better but he's the only one in that room that has been "the guy". That will count for something.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if he's just the guy that does nothing but go forward and ends up taking over the lion's share. Fletcher fumbles and Lyle takes losses too often. He's not RB3 or 4. He's in the picture for RB1 immediately in my opinion.

That article is pretty good for us. It basically said NU can’t match UM on NIL. Cool. I’d like to read a similar article about every college football program vs Miami.
I do love the audacity of claiming that Rhule will develop and UM just pays. Considering that 1% of college football players play in the NFL, I would always take the school that pays more. Guaranteed money.
