Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

if Manny goes - he’s going to get the resources. I always like Manny, just got the job at the wrong time.

Hope he does get the job so you guys can be proven wrong. So I can tell every Manny guy, I told you he’s dog ****.

This is the sole reason I hope he gets the job. So they can hurt in recruiting just like we did. So that what if Manny had more time **** can be dead forever

The manny myths are like that fly you killed 5 times but he keeps coming back. You could of sworn you killed him but he just doesn’t go away
If he goes there - I hope you’re right.

But I like Manny, my casual family members liked him. They don’t know Cristobal’s name (for better or for worse) but new Manny’s. He will get a lot of love in Tally if he takes the job.
Yup casuals know him cause the media pumps up scrubs cause they wanted Miami down. When we get a real alpha no one knows about him, at least the casuals don’t or they shrug and say it’s cause of NIL

FSU has no prodigal son to come home to save them. They are on the verge of purgatory.

No high school kid know who Bobby Bowden was or what he did. NOne of them know Jimbo Fisher. MIami was on that path until Mario save us.

I can see the Media wanting Deion it will be interesting to see.

I don't think Manny recruits well enough to be a fit for FSU. FSU expects to be in the mix for the top recruits in FL, and on the national stage come game day. Manny did neither of those things here. You could explain away some of that being poor resources and a weak AD, if you're trying to talk yourself into hiring him, but I doubt he would be a top 5 choice for them. He's probably in the perfect spot at Duke.

I don’t understand how anyone who sat through Manny’s tenure can think he’d have even a small amount of success at FSU. You need either an elite recruiter or X’s & O’s genius to turn FSU around. Manny is neither of those. Did we not watch the same **** show? We constantly looked underprepared. Small. Sure we won a few recruiting battles vs Willie and Mullen. But Willie and Mullen aren’t coaching in Florida anymore. They’ll fight for bowl eligibility every year if he becomes the HC there.

Idk why it’s so controversial to say he was liked by many lol… I can like someone and think they did a bad job.

I get yall know he didn’t do a good job. The reality is, for the average fan, he didn’t do any better or any worse than the last 15 years. People like him, he embodied Miami to most my family and friends who watch the canes.

I grew up in Miami and start following the Canes in my youth all the way to my days as an older dude.
With all due respect to Manny, I don't know of anyone who gave a rip about Manny.
Yeah, his dad was a Mayor but so what?
What happened to the Orange Bowl during his political days?
I can tell you my family and I miss the Orange Bowl.
Manny? Who?

Manny wasn’t any worse than the parade of bums we had before him but that’s setting a very low bar.

I’ve said it before, Diaz isn’t the guy you hire if you want to seriously compete for championships. He just can’t recruit well enough. I guess unlike the other bums before him, he’s managed to become a moderately successful head coach again but he’s a 7-8 win guy.
