Not just that, but it's a well known secret that Norvell is only there because they don't have enough money to fire him. Nobody wants to be involved in a situation like that. It's gonna be a long few years for them.

I suggested back in November after they lost to UF that they should have turned Norvell into an emeritus HC and hired a hungry up and coming FCS guy for 1M base plus a bonus for every win. Worst case they keep losing but get the Norvell stink off the program so they can at least retain the little talent they have and go fresh into the portal and 2027 recruiting cycle. They’re in full nuclear meltdown right now.
