Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

I wouldn’t say anything because it’s not my decision. I’d also understand why he’d leave for that deal because it’s millions of dollars. You can’t say a guy going to Bethune Cookman is the same as playing for Deion Sanders and signing the reported deal that has been offered. We don’t know the exact terms of the deal but if they make this kid a national brand his value exceeds whatever bag UGA would’ve dropped. When you look at this from a brand/business perspective it makes sense. If this kid chooses to go to FSU and suffers a career altering injury is it still a good decision?
This isn't going to make him a national brand. It makes him a novelty item.

He might flip but it won't be to MF'n Jackson St. It'll be to the SEC.
I said the same thing, but now I'm not so sure...money talks, and if he's getting 2 mil like it's rumored...no one can compete with that. Barstool is backing Deion here.

I understand these kids being able to benefit from their likeness, but how could this not be considered pay for play?? Telling a kid we will give you $$$ if you go here but not there? Isn’t that what everyone has complained about and try to outlaw in CFB? I know we all hate the NCAA but someone, either NCAA or the schools themselves have to get this under control. It’s become open season for boosters and now giant companies to pay unwarranted $$$ to sway 18yr olds. I just don’t see how this doesn’t ruin CFB
I don’t think the NCAA can do much on this and kids were already being paid before this. What’s the real difference except it being out in the open?
