Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

Norvell let it slip. He knows his team sucks.

I was there in my seats realizing I've completely lost all love for my Phins. They never draft who they should and consistently try to force average QB's to be stars. As I looked around the stadium wondering WTF am I doing here and seeing more Giant fans than Dolphin fans I realized this franchise is a dumpster fire. Thank god the team I love more is back to being dominant once again. GO CANES!

I mean, I hate the SemenHoles and I realize they are scrapping for every bit of hope, but this nonsense is a hopeless hodgepodge of self-contradictory bull**** and "what about last year" delusions.

He starts by asking a question of whether Miami is being crowned a little early. And it would be fair if he stopped right there. I'd simply point out that the reason Miami is being FAVORED so early is the wide disparity between Miami and all the other ACC teams. We made it to the CFP championship game and we reloaded. And the rest of the top ACC teams slid back a bit.

But OK, let's look at the specifics. First thing this hater does is put "Talent" in quotation marks, as if we don't really have the "Talent" that everyone says. And what is his "support" for putting "Talent" in quotation marks? He cites possibly the most talented true freshman Miami has ever had. A kid who rewrote the Miami single-season WR record books and will likely rewrite the Miami career WR record books. A kid so talented that we can tell guys like Tony Johnson and JoJo Trader and Cam Vaughn "yeah, we good, you can take your talents elsewhere". But, OOOOHHH, we relied on Malachi Toney too heavily. I guess. Again, look who started for us against ND and then compare it to who was playing for us against Indiana. These things happen.

Next, we "lost a lot on defense". Yeah? That's what happens to teams with "Talent". The "Talent" gets drafted, and then you bring in more "Talent". It's the way of the world.

Oh, and "let's see what happens if they stumble at Wake on a Friday night in their 3rd game"? What is that? Wishful magical thinking? "Wake had 4 outright upsets last year". And? They also won 9 games. So, no, Miami will not taken them lightly. But they also lost their top 2 QBs from last year, and did not exactly replace them with "Darian Mensah, defending ACC champion". So we are supposed to be scared for all the "upsets" that Wake pulled off last year with 2 QBs who are no longer there? Confusing.

Don't even get me started on the long and confusing rant about Darian Mensah "getting his ankle rolled up on" against FAMU, and then "who is his backup"? And the comparison to...2025 F$U vs. UVa? What the what? Sure, injuries happen. Still, how many times did Cam Ward and/or Carson Beck get injured in the past 2 years? And just because this F$U dip**** doesn't know about Luke Nickel and Dereon Coleman doesn't mean that Miami can't survive "an ankle rollup against FAMU". Good lord.

"Cristobal is still their coach". So? Did he "gack away" any games last year? No. But that won't stop the F$U nitwits from imagining their dream world where Mario fails to take a knee against GaTech every year. We lost a couple of games last year? Yes, we lost to a pair of 9-win teams, one by 3 and the other in OT. But, hey, who cares about context or analysis, we just "lost" to a couple of teams we were favored to beat. And still ended up in the national championship game.

"The early dismissal of Clemson as being bad"? Who is doing that? That will be our second-toughest game, everybody knows that.

The funniest part was that LAST YEAR we opened with 4 straight home games. Uh, yeah? And 3 of those 4 were against ranked Notre Dame, ranked USF, and Florida. Yeah, we had it soooooo easy last year...

Ridiculous. These SemenHoles are desperate to see us falter...
We don’t want nole fans, players, coaches or admin to stop being delusional and getting focused on the reality of the program

An eight win season isn’t the worst thing in the world. Just delays there rebuild. Mike isn’t going to get recruits off 8 wins

The Dolphins are not a serious NFL franchise, they are a developer's hobby. They've put more thought into what other sports they can play at the stadium, than the one which already does. Oh, and the parking lot looks like something a 5th grader with an erector set and toy race track would build in their living room. I am glad I entered the Portal.

Let's Go Bucs!!!

Generally speaking, any team that hypothetically loses their starting QB would have less a chance of winning their remaining games. They should be keenly aware of this.

What a bunch of garbage.
This board has been guilty of this type of thinking too. “If Cam/Beck gets hurt, we’re screwed” . Yeah. If any team loses their starting quarterback they’re screwed. If there’s no drop off from your starting quarterback to your backup it’s because your starter sucks
