Nobody feels sorry for us

Everyone needs to put their big boy pants on and that’s not just players , that goes for fans too. Everyone in America is dealing with injuries but most fans don’t pay attention to other programs to notice. Florida has been without their best wr most of the year. Ohio State lost their qb . Texas injury list has enough NIL cash on it to buy new BBL’s and ***** for the entire Kardashian and Jenner families, Caitlyn included. Then there’s the team we’re playing who has 4-5 guys possibly out this week and some for season.

There’s no replacing Mali but in a weird way maybe this takes pressure off the team and galvanizes guys. I’ve seen things like this workout in the short term. Us against the world type motivation.

The defense has already been getting trashed by fans and media (rightfully so). On top of that most had us already losing this game. Now we really have no shot and we lost our entire team with Toney injury. If this culture and team is what we think it is they should be chopping at the bit to step up and prove folks wrong. It’s called house money.

It’s game nine so guys like Spafford and Wingo are no longer Freshmen . It’s your time and this is why you come to a program like Miami.

Yes ,odds are stacked against the team but as I said I’ve seen weird things happen to a team facing adversity. On top of that nobody gives a **** or feels pity for Miami. Just like we didn’t for FSU when they lost Jordan Travis. Injuries are part of the game. Now shoot to survive until Mali comes back.
💯 perfectly stated
This is an OPPORTUNITY
And it is up to each teamember to
Embrace it and elevate their performance

Can’t wait!!!!

All I know is this team **** the bed when Toney's injury occurred against Wake Forest. Who can blame any fan for thinking disaster now that he's out a while? I remember the gameday thread and the entire board was melting at how bad the offense was playing.

Maybe the team will pull together and get it done. I'm just saying the only time we saw this team try to operate without him in 2026, it was ugly as ****.
But we also forget RB 1 went down and RB 2 went out for the season in the second quarter. There was no Lyle and Mallory probably wasn’t in much of the game plan at that point.

Add in our OL was a mess compared to what it is now.

And also let’s not forget Mensah got banged up himself. Remember when he missed Lofton on that deep shot that would have put the game away. He doesn’t miss that throw if he’s healthy.

Yeah Mali was hurt in that game but so was our QB and top 2 RBs all working behind an OL that had about 100 game snaps together at that point.

Already got smug ND fans in airport talking to me "hey u heard about your wr?"

This some bull****.. gabos.. let's get it, first flight out this morning and I see a bunch of games on flight.. wheels up

100% well said and bravo.

Tough to replace the best football player in the country. But Mensah is what he is and the line has been taking steps every week. Fletch looked like Fletch last week and I truly believe everyone on the squad knows it’s time to sack up. Will it be enough this week? Time will tell. But this is a top 5 talent roster with some hard nosed mother ****ers calling the shots. I have zero doubt the focus, intensity, and detail being preached will be turned up beyond what it already is, particularly on the defensive side of the ball which has been what it’s been. The talent is there and the experience is growing.

Say what we will but there’s not one head which will be hanging in that facility. Bottom line is this is an amazing opportunity to seize. **** or walk is the analogy I give my team in moments like these. Time for some guys to get to *******.

Amen, brother.

Big loss, but we have other talented WR. Dawson is the key. Don't go conservative. Insert the next man up and call your game as if Mali was out there. Whoever plays slot, go earn your money

I don’t have numbers to support this—
But there is another way of looking at this… if Mali was 30% or more of our production— you can bet the domers entire gameplay was to neutralize him. Now they don’t have to.

But now they have to scheme on the run for all the rest of the line up sans Mali—

That’s the unknown. Coaches don’t like having entire game plans shredded 48 hrs in advance of walk through…
Theyre cutting tape like mad trying to figure out what we will do now—

Coaches hate uncertainty as well- Hard to scheme for what you don’t know…
