Nobody feels sorry for us

Did he have the surgery yesterday? Seeing some chit chat on social media that implies the procedure was already done.

Mensah Heisman game incoming. Going to be big game for Barkate and Jacobs. Defense needs to wake the **** up though if we are going to pull this off.

Everyone needs to put their big boy pants on and that’s not just players , that goes for fans too. Everyone in America is dealing with injuries but most fans don’t pay attention to other programs to notice. Florida has been without their best wr most of the year. Ohio State lost their qb . Texas injury list has enough NIL cash on it to buy new BBL’s and ***** for the entire Kardashian and Jenner families, Caitlyn included. Then there’s the team we’re playing who has 4-5 guys possibly out this week and some for season.

There’s no replacing Mali but in a weird way maybe this takes pressure off the team and galvanizes guys. I’ve seen things like this workout in the short term. Us against the world type motivation.

The defense has already been getting trashed by fans and media (rightfully so). On top of that most had us already losing this game. Now we really have no shot and we lost our entire team with Toney injury. If this culture and team is what we think it is they should be chopping at the bit to step up and prove folks wrong. It’s called house money.

It’s game nine so guys like Spafford and Wingo are no longer Freshmen . It’s your time and this is why you come to a program like Miami.

Yes ,odds are stacked against the team but as I said I’ve seen weird things happen to a team facing adversity. On top of that nobody gives a **** or feels pity for Miami. Just like we didn’t for FSU when they lost Jordan Travis. Injuries are part of the game. Now shoot to survive until Mali comes back.

Which overhyped slap is going to finally step up?

I can’t imagine being the surgeon having to operate on an pro (yes I know he’s not pro but they get paid and he’s a future pro) athletes lower extremity. Talk about pressure. As I type from my desk job

Doctors have HUGE egos. They get off on it. That's their version of posting a LOL on CIS

It’s harder without Mali, but team needs to galvanize & take care of business.

You could still make the case that Barkate, Upshaw, Jacobs along with the freshman are as good as ND got. Lofton has looked great I think it opens up room for guys like Briggs and Mueller to have some opportunities in bigger sets as they’ve really flashed lately.

And Mensah is still a Heisman QB.

No excuses for our offense

Agree with your view, my only concern is will the OL hold up vs ND's front seven.

If the Canes beat ND in their house without Mali? Oh boy! Their asses are in trouble! That's how I'm looking at this.
